Good morning to all my followers and to all who continue to believe in what I write on this journey changing the world one mind at a time.

Today I am going to talk about how to become a friendlier person. Before I do that though I would like to say that sometimes we meet people and they are just in a bad mood and you well just want to punch them in the throat yea!! I know you have met those people. I know I have met many many in my life and well I just ignore them and delete them from my path. I simply walk away and smile but never criticize and never condemn or complain about them.

If I choose to try to help them and get them in the right track this is what I do. I try to talk to them and the try to figure out what it is that makes them angry and try to arouse something that they will appreciate more then I. One thing to always remember is that your name is the the best thing that you will hear and satisfy any feeling or emotion within. I try to be the best listener possible and then encourage the other person to talk to me about them. 

Once they do that I know what their interests are and so I begin the journey with them.Another very important thing to know and understand is that you must try to make them important and let them know that their fears and concerns can be worked out.

I have known many business owners or staff members argue over a quarter whether taxes or shortage. I have seen full on arguments. I want to laugh but really it is not funny because I think about the issue and then I think about what this poor persons life outside of the business or job is really like and guess what it is pretty scary!!

Sometimes and this happens so much more in larger organizations with people and their bosses. WHAT!! what do I mean ? Well how many times if a person has lost their job or is in a job that they love but has greater skill sets then their bosses and well they have to make them feel that any idea that comes your way to better the team or the organization came from them and yes they take all the credit. 

 

Well I guess if you want to promote then deal with it and if not we all have choices my friends we all have the choice to either do it or leave it!!.

I have known this next tip since my mentor explained it to me. He said when someone talks down to you or makes a mistake do not ignore them but call attention to their mistake indirectly and always let the other person save face.

The other thing that I have learned is to create a fine reputation for the other person to live by. I fine that some leaders who think they are leaders will ruin a person reputation because they feel intimidated by a persons skill sets.

As a leader you must learn to overcome worry. Always ask yourself what is the worst possible thing that can happen? Always try to improve the worst scenarios. When you try to analyze worry get all the facts! 

What is the problem?

What are the causes of the issue?

What are the possible solutions?

What is the best possible solution?

Do not worry about the past because the past is gone and should either be forgotten or learn to live with past mistakes.Do not try to imitate others and try to profit from your losses and the last thing is create happiness for other people.

Remember that unjust criticism is usually a disguised compliment and analyze your own mistakes and criticize yourself. Do some critical thinking. Critical thinking is reasonable then there is reflective thinking that is focused on deciding what to believe or do.

Critical thinking is thinking about your thinking and while you are thinking in order to make your thinking better.You have to remember that critical thinking at the heart is thinking about real problems not theoretical problems and not coming up with unreal solutions but real solutions. The essence  of critical thinking comes from real problems and not artificial ones.

How many times have we me included walked into a situation and said  ( What The Hell) is this common be honest!! now!! because I know we all have done it and perhaps said it out loud like I did. What now I have to change my routine and this new manager is coming in like he knows it all mmmm no way this is not happening.

Inspiration sometimes will change the mind of a person simply by looking at what is and at what is not. You see what is is what is at the moment and it is not going to change unless you change your attitude and your perspective on what ever the change is. I say inspiration because I know that at times I have had to find that what inspires me to keep moving forward though I did not want to do so.

I have a friend who was almost separated from his wife and children and he called me and said what do I do and I asked what have you tried and he said everything and I said OK lets take it step by step my friend.

I asked him what inspires you? He said my children. I then went on to help him see things from a different perspective and to make the changes in order to have his family back. He was resisting change and sometimes when we resist change it can cause our most close relationships to go to @#$%^%^& HE#$%LL.

To say that the change took place and now he is happy with his family and living in a bigger house better job and him and his wife could not be any happier YAY!!! Change sometimes needs to take place in order to survive in both business and life.

The key is in your mind at all times. This is the place where we need to look first and then ask: Do I need to make the change to survive what ever that situation may be.

What is Networking and how to do it correctly

Networking, whether through business associations or other means, is the most best way and cost effective way for small and home businesses to attract new clients. Networking is a powerful word and if you learn how to do it correctly then you are on your way to success.

Select a few  organizations. Go to meetings as often as possible and work on one or two committees. Your goal: to be the person that people come to you for ideas and solutions.

 One has to always keep an open mind and always learning something new to continue the process of mind growth and mind expansion. When we learn something new our minds expand and grow with knowledge and fill sour heart with the desire to keep on learning.

Hello my friends and how are you doing this beautiful Saturday morning. As for me well guess what making the move to Northern California Santa Barbara County where the weather is cooler and a better quality of life I hope YAY!!! Life is beautiful, I just believe that people in general make if difficult when they believe that they cannot change it when in fact they can at any point they choose to do so.

Well back to business and as a coach I am all about Heart. I love engaging people in general whenever I get a chance, and I find great reward in supporting the people around me as I move through making the change  in whatever solution is needed.  As a  Visionary, I am always looking forward to an inspiring future. 

I seem to have found a gift for seeing opportunity and planning for new situations, and I tend to get excited about what lies on the other side of a change.

I see change coming into my life and that is to help businesses in need that perhaps have never asked for assistance because they were embarrassed for whatever reason and to you my friends and future clients I say be who you are be yourself and just invite me for a cup of hot strong coffee and you will have my attention and we can talk about the future.

Last week I had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Santa Barbara Helene Schneider a very strong woman whom I have the highest respect for. Helene is all about change and bringing new ideas to to her city of Santa Barbara. I want to say thank you to her for taking the time from her busy schedule to stop by and say hello.

 

As a Facilitator, I focus on the specific needs of individuals and specific activities they need to support their day-to-day routines  to lead the change. I know the tasks that need to be accomplished to make measurable progress, and for you to succeed to reach your goals and dreams.

  

 There is always a shortage of people who get the job done on time without excuses or grumbling.

If you really study those who have reached the top of any organization, you will find that they are the people who cheerfully accept challenges, take the initiative, and get the job done. They don’t complain, and they don’t make excuses. Those who never get anywhere in their jobs and careers can’t seem to understand that achievers don’t become achievers after they reach the top. They reached the top because of the way they conducted themselves along the way.

You can easily become one of those individuals who regularly advance in the organization — if you are willing to pay the price. Any good manager will tell you that the type of people who are most in demand are those who can think for themselves, who will take the initiative to do the right thing without being told, and who will stick to the job until it is finished. You can be one of those people if you choose to be.

What is social power and how can it help or deplete a company of clients. Well  let me start by saying that Social power is a central element in analyzing human society and the way it is organized. All human societies, regardless of their normative background, are based around different sources of power.

So what does all this mean simply put it means that social power is managed by those that may be in power say mult-media giants and can manipulate what is recognized and reality and non reality.

There are different types like Coercion which means if you are in power of a large company and everyone know you are the man then guess what that person will use his power of position to get things done and most of the time their way or the highway.

Power of class status - I love this one because it so self explanatory it is what and how it reads power of status it is just that if a person or a company can monopolize the market then guess what happens they can control the markets and the economy this type usually means that all other social power derives from the Status of Class.

How about when a group gets together and really gets the populous going and then the people will believe that what they are trying to sell you is the best thing there is or the only way and direction to move towards.

This type can be dangerous and sometime catastrophic to individuals and the economy and could destroy the smaller companies that may be trying to survive. This is the worst kind because it works off what either individuals or companies believe to be true and either will conform to survive or just have a mediocre stability.

The Action of Persuasion

 Here is where a great speaker or a teacher can manipulate the people to believe what is right or what is wrong and persuade the masses. This type will do everything in their power to have people believe and sometimes take action by persuading to believe that their ideas are the best and only options.m of pow

Good morning my friends and here is a question for you.

What does it take to open up your mind to a world of opportunity and to be able to see the world in a whole new way or perspective?

I have pondered on this question for a while now. It has been a while since I have blogged and to be honest with you it was because I had been really thinking about what this world has to offer to all of us if we really choose to live our dreams the way we should but never really understand. 

It has been true that many have stated myself included to simply just go after your dreams and yes that still stands to be true.

You see though now we need to take action and many times we think we are taking action but in reality we are still waiting for the perfect time to act on our dreams and well we are going to talk about doing and not just thinking. 

You see in our minds we believe that we are always doing the right thing to move our lives ahead but yet we go no where:Why is that? That is a great question do you not think so?

A question and followed up with another question and that is because we all go in circles asking ourselves the same question over and over which is WHY this and WHY that. The answer is simple that we never take action and we need to do is simply follow our dreams and really make a plan to take action that is it that is the secret.

In business and I find this to be really distrubing because most owners really believe that there is no one else that can do what they do as well as they do it and well it annoys the hell out of me because when someone believes that they are the only one; What happens? Well you know (You Loose) All businesses start well level off and then die off or close doors not because they had no business but because owners believe that they are the only ones that can do the job right.

In all reality one has to be able to see that sometimes we need help or guideance in the right direction and that is where a coach comes in either for individual training or staff and entire company training. 

When we aren't getting results, it's easy to find excuses. The problem is that everyone can justify their behavior (or lack thereof), but until we take responsibility for our results, we will not move ahead.

 The imagination is the workshop of the soul, where are shaped all the plans for individual achievement.

Before you can build anything worthwhile, you must first create it in your mind. Your mind is not constrained by physical limitations or boundaries. In the workshop of your mind, you can visualize things that have never been. It is said that Albert Einstein visualized how the universe might look if he were riding astride a beam of light through infinity. 

 

Then he worked out the mathematics to support his theory of relativity. You can use the power of your imagination to visualize solutions to difficult problems, to develop new ideas, and to see yourself achieving the goals you have set for yourself. 

If you read the above short story and I say short story because if you want to say someething to someone try to use short stories and you will find that people will understand you much better. Today I believe is but a few days away from a day that is celebrated all around the world and well it also my birthday so yes you will be celebrating my birthday HA Ha Ha Ha.

Success in business as well as in life comes when you plan it out. You must be very specific what you want the end result to be.

Many people know that I am a coach of the mind and a coach of the business world and a coach on life and to be honest when someone calls me a coach I smile because they are missing what I do. You see my friends I am someone that will bring about results to your life and to your business. I am the one who will not think about the money but about where you want to be with your business and your life.

There are many ways to celebrate any holiday but this one around the corner will be a very difficult for eveyone this year due what took place in Connecticut. I am not sure what to say or even what to think about that situation other then I truly feel horrible about it and I cannot even begin to fathom what those parents and family members are going through. 

What I can say is that my heart goes out to them and may God carry them through these times which will be most difficult.  

These things are not supposed to happen to a child and yet it has, perhaps now they the politicians will see the importance of gun control. We will have the pros and the cons on this issue and we all understand them both. 

Is this what it takes for changes to occur in our lives-to loose little lives. We can shed a tear or two if we are politicians and tell the world how sorry we are and show up at the places of where the situation occurred and that is all nice and fluffy but what what about the real issue?

We as people need to come together and stand up if not for ourselves for our children. People in the past fought wars to keep their children safe from harm and they continue to do so in other countries. I believe in peace but I also understand that sometimes that Peace can be and is threaten by outside sources and you have to protect yourself and your family.

We had a police officer come to our office to address this issue on violence and we asked questions and what it came to was that as an individual you do what you have to do to stay safe! and I was so no techniques or nothing and me being form a background on security minded from my personal background was taken aback because in my mind I was like WOW!! these guys are not trained.

Pretty scary really so I will be getting certified on safety so I can take care of this issue myself. 

In the business world there are so many changes that take place and real changes that need to take place in both life and whatever business one is taking on. The thing to do is to sit somewhere and write down what it is you want to achieve and then take time to write out a short plan to start the steps needed to get there.

 Success in business as well as in life comes when you plan it out. You must be very specific what you want the end result to be.

TRUTH IN LEADERSHIP!

Good morning my friends and how is everyone doing on this beautiful morning? You see I wake up each morning and give thanks for all that I have and realize that life is a great thing to look forward to each day. Each morning I give thanks for many things about life and in turn the world gives me thanks for being who I am.

I know that might sound a bit selfish but think about it.

 A leader should always remain focused and concentrate on his/her ability to adapt to all situations in the work place.  A position of power gives an individual certain tasks that must be performed in a mutually beneficial way - both to the company and to the employee, the parent or the child. 

I find that sometimes it's interesting to look over and observe peoples behaviors and to think about what the underlying causes of their actions truly are.  Sometimes the results can be astonishing!

For example; when a person finds they've been placed in a position of power it can be an undaunting experience - because it's a change and more often than not - it's a big change.  And change is one of the things that is hard to adapt to - and when this type of change happens in a persons life - the outcome and a persons behavior can become unpredictable - it is precisely this unpredictability that leads to confusion, harsh judgement or speedy judgement on the part of the person in a newly found position of power.  And this is how people who become leaders tend to make mistakes when taking on the new role of a power position.  As a leader one should strive to understand those individuals that you mean to direct or manage - a leader should understand human behavior and really consider - as a leader - what makes his subordinates tick.  And as a leader one should always display compassion to every person around them ; most especially those that he/she leads or manages.

 I am fortunate enough to have a show where I attempt to help other people via radio - so my audience grows on a daily basis and I'm sometimes inundated with questions about peoples behavior or lack their of - in both the work place and at home.  My method of extracting the details I find to be important is a simple one.  Truth.  One must always speak the truth not only about what a person thinks of others but also the truth of the actions that he/she may be undertaking.

In speaking about compassion in the work place or even at home; I sometimes find myself at odds with certain individuals because it is these "Truths" that are sometimes very difficult to accept.  When a person looks at a situation from the outside in , it's usually from a very clear and unbiased view of a situation.  And when my analysis is presented to an individual, it can sometimes become an abrasive discussion - at least temporarily.  

But this is never my intention; this is simply a result of a simple process - a mechanism as it were - that helps to identify where any individual can improve their behavior in the work place or at home by understanding and developing their analytical skills, their personal behavior towards others and their ability to manage their own actions when responding a subordinate.  

In other words; being the boss can sometimes give people a big head and so one must bring themselves back down to Earth and realize that although you are in a position of power - this power has been presented to you for many, many reasons and most of those reasons have to do with how your boss views you and your capabilities to perform a good job as a "good" leader of the company.  It's hardly ever the case that person is presented with a position of power so that they can abuse said power.  The job ultimately is presented to person because at the end of the day - as an owner looking for a manager or leader for my company - it boils down to the bottom line.  But remember that the bottom line shouldn't mean you place those you lead or manage at the bottom.  In fact they are standing right along side you.  It's your team!

LUCIANO SANTINI'S OUTLOOK ON "LIFE"

Well here we are again on A Saturday and what a day it has been so far let us see. One of our car's engine blew up so yes we need to either put in a new engine or buy a new one MMM. My other car starting leaking oil like crazy so we need to repair that once we figure out where the leak is from or buy a new one. That has been my morning . 

You see I am just like everyone out there when it rains it pours. What I have done so far. I woke up looked outside and walked  around and took a big breath of the fresh and cool air and filled my lungs and said thank you for another beautiful day of life. You see life is what you make of it and how you look at each situation.

I have no idea who wrote this but they have my credit. I say this because at one time I used something that someone sent me and they tried to get me to pay them like a hundred dollars and I said really so I removed it and well I have never seen that anywhere else again. 

People are greedy by nature I suppose but I ask the question WHY?? For those that feel philisophical please find me on facebook and leave me your comments.

Life is life and will always continue to move forward with the exception when it stops and when id does people say there is still somewhere to go and that may be the case however I have never experienced that but I have heard so I will leave it at that simply because I believe there might be something to that huh.

When I do a seminar on life I get asked so many questions and sometimes I do not have the answers and as silly as they might sound neither does anyone else, but being human beings we hope that there is always an answer and I am positive that there is however sometimes we have keep on searching for it. If life was that simple and when we want an answer it would just pop up well life would be boring!! That is my opinion of course.

When I do a seminar in business again I get asked so many questions as if to say well you have the silver bullet for my unfortunate demise of my business or you have the naswer to the why I have been looking for!!. 

I smile and I say to them well no! I do not have the silver bulet nor do I have any miracles for you but what I do have is some sound advice on perhaps could turn your business around depending where you are now and how you put it into use.

Clients are strange specially if they are looking for the answer to their needs and that is why it is so important to do your diligent research in your market or services.

 If you have a service and you believe you have the best service and yet you have three others like you in the neighborhood that believe the same thing then what do you do?

I do not about you but I would for sure go visit them and see what they offer that makes their customers leep coming back MMMM you see we all have something special to offer the world the trick is how well do we offer it that is it.

Just who's in charge of your life right now? Take a look at your calendar today, and you might notice a few too many upcoming events that you aren't really looking forward to. If you've been pressured into doing something you don't want to do, then it's time to start flexing your muscles. 

Initiate plans of your own, and start making sure that the things you do are the things you want to do! You cannot be everything to everyone, so fulfill your current commitments and then commit to yourself.

Step 1) Take a short walk around the block not only is this a healthy way for the heart but you can breath fresh air.

Step 2) Go to the park and enjoy the plants and flowers that you may encounter on the way.

Step 3) Take sometime to enjoy your significant other and your children if you have any. These are just a few to start your new day and perhaps a new perspective if you decide to take on these steps and turn them into daily habits or at least use them on weekends.

Lets talk about what it means to reach a goal that you have always wanted to accomplish but have been unable to do so and why have you not been able to do so. You see sometimes we have those voice sin the back of your minds that we keep on hearing and the worse part is that we sometimes let those voice take over our minds and we listen to them.

We need to take control of those voices because they will take over if you allow them to do so. I always say that if you listen to them and not able to control those ugly monsters then you will suffer as an individual.

In business it is almost the same. As owners we do not take over our thoughts and we are unsure of the next move that we need to make and we do not make it because we listen to the voices of fear. I call them the voices of fear because when you listen to them they will take over and you will make mistakes.

How do you turn your fears in something that you can use to your advantage and give your customers what they want. You can start by looking at the fear for what it really is nothing  more than an obstacle that can perhaps you can change direction and go around it and start looking at it as more of a directional object and use it,

Luciano Santini On Business and Life And Our Youth

Well hello my friends I almost forgot to blog MMMMM where is my mind lately. Well let just say that I have been really busy finishing up some translations and getting ready to do a bilingual seminar for the youth.

 I always look forward to doing these seminars because I really try to reach our youth, Many people are always saying how we are loosing our youth to the world and chaos of today and guess what!! I agree!!! Yes I do!!!

Meet my beautiful son he is eleven years old and yet he has a mind of an adult now do not get me wrong he is still a kid of course and he does all the things eleven year old kids do however he is an inspiration to me because sometimes out comes some things that I have only heard from adult conversations,now granted I take him to my meetings and seminars and he helps me out with all the computer set ups and projectors. 

He is good at it yes I taught him those things and yes he gets paid for doing a great job. I guess he is learning how to be responsible for what he does and for what he learns.

He does great in school top of his class but the amazing thing about him is that he questions life. Really think about that how many kids and adults ever questions life. This important because most people ever do and when you do not question life then that means that you are comfortable and thus for will never ever progress forward. 

He has asked me about life in general and he has asked me about the future and though I may not have the answer which I do not but what I do tell him is we may not know the future there are ways on how to prepare for it and not be left behind specially in technology.

Lets talk a little about business owners. When do you id you are one question your customer service really be honest not with me but with yourself and your customers. Do you give your clients the best service you possibly can. Do you talk to them and ask them how your employees treat them? I'm just saying really my friends lets be real to a real world.

Some tips on how to give the best you can to your clients.

Ask yourself some of these questions;

 What outcomes (results, not activities) are to be achieved by this improvement initiative? How will their attainment be measured?

1. Have you identified which of the organization's products and services are most critical in carrying out its mission? If yes, what are the 10 most vital? If not, what method will you use for identifying and prioritizing them to create a strategic foundation for this initiative?
2. What specific numerical objectives and due dates have been established for improving priority outcomes, products and services? Are they being met?
3. Improvement initiatives are often aimed at general problem-solving and process management. As Drucker, Lawton, Deming and others have written, it is possible to solve internal problems and improve efficiency while failing to (1) meet customer needs or (2) function as an effective enterprise. Is the initiative intended to measurably increase both customer and employee satisfaction? By how much?
4. What is currently given higher organizational priority than customer satisfaction?

I have found out that sometime you simply have to go out and ask for help whether with your life as a person or your business and that is ok sometimes we need to that and sometimes we do not and we end up loosing more then just our businesses we end up loosing ourselves to the chaos of the world and find ourselves lost. I believe that people are good and they mean well though sometimes people do not really understand human nature and tend to go on the deep end.

I am not talking about certain types I mean generally people do not understand people and the ones who do really do become successful why? Well simply because they are able to see the needs of their clients and help them. That is it!!! simple right ! actually wrong!! because that is easier said then done and even harder to teach your staff members that they need to understand their customers.

I find myself teching tecniques to companies both large and small and guess what they all have the same issue ( Not understanding clients) Their needs must be met and you the owner must know how to accomplpish that and if you do not they will go elsewhere to have that need met.

I find myself learning something new each time a I give a seminar to a company on customer service. I really enjoy this because as a trainer you learn so much if you keep an open mind. People will always disagree and that is ok. Life is far to short to try to please everyone,however you get paid for giving or offering a service or a product so do your best to fulfill that need to your clients.

 

 

It’s mighty easy to justify dishonesty if you make your living from it.

The subconscious mind makes no moral judgments. If you tell yourself something over and over, your subconscious mind will eventually accept even the most blatant lie as fact. Those whose lives and careers have been destroyed by dishonest behavior began the process of self-destruction when they convinced themselves that one slight infraction of the rules wouldn’t matter. 

 

When you sell yourself on an idea, make sure the idea is positive, beneficial to you, and harmless to others. Just as negative thoughts and deeds return to their originator, so do positive ones. When you practice honest, ethical behavior, you set in motion a force for good that will return to you many times over.
