How long does it take to know you have a bad leader among your midst?

I don't know about you, but what I do know is that it becomes obvious when no one listens!!

Do you know and understand you? If you don't neither does anyone else..

Hello everyone out there somewhere in the world. As always I want to say thank you to all my clients and connections here on this rock we call earth. You know I was thinking this morning about what it takes to be successful and to  be honest it takes lots and lots of hard work perseverance and lots and lots of knowledge.

Be aware that when I say knowledge I do not mean book or school I simply mean understanding what you want and where do you want to be and what do you want to accomplish. The know how needs to be about you the individual. Do you know and understand you? This is a very important questions because if you do not know who you are then guess what!! No one else does either.

This becomes like having a well written resume when you are looking for that job that you want to land. There will be questions about you asked during the interview and guess what if you do not know what you have written on your resume because someone else wrote it for you then you will fail in answering any questions.

Think about life!-life is the same way if you do not know or have any idea of what you want and where you want to go then you will fail because you are simply existing. My friends some people think that because they have lots of money they are happy and they may be and they may have a real handle on life and those that do I can tell you from being around many that have lots and lots of money are very well versed in life's experiences.

Those that have lots of money but struggle with every day situations believe that money can fix it all and these are the ones that will fail once again because somewhere along their success they failed at learning the lessons that life has taught them along the way. What!!  WHAT!! of course we all do that at one time or another where we become successful and start to believe that money can fix it all or because the power that we acquire and not from money but from a high ranking position one might hold.

All these beliefs become a problem after a while because people loose their way and end up alone.

The mind grows only through use, and it atrophies through idleness.

Just as the physical body becomes strong through regular exercise, so does the mind require regular use to remain strong. Make sure that your personal development plan includes plenty of mental stimulation. One of the best ways to develop your imagination and visualization skills is through reading. 

As you read, your mind translates the words into images that help you better understand the concepts about which you are reading. Become a voracious reader. Read newspapers, trade magazines, self-help books, and novels; all will contribute to your store of knowledge and to your ability to visualize and more effectively use your imagination. 

I have found through out my life that our imagination is perhaps the most powerful tool that we have been given.Imagination can create and it can also destroy lives. Think about this for a while let sit in your mind and just ponder on this thought and write me your comments on your thoughts.

 I know that everyone in this world at one point or another we feel stuck and this is an awful place to be because you feel dis empowered and beat up because we listen to our past failures and thus making us live our lives in constant fear thus continue to fail in all that we try to do.  You will have to look outside of yourself and find that strength you need from within this will strengthen your being.

Hello my friends and how are you doing this beautiful Saturday morning. As for me well guess what making the move to Northern California Santa Barbara County where the weather is cooler and a better quality of life I hope YAY!!! Life is beautiful, I just believe that people in general make if difficult when they believe that they cannot change it when in fact they can at any point they choose to do so.

Well back to business and as a coach I am all about Heart. I love engaging people in general whenever I get a chance, and I find great reward in supporting the people around me as I move through making the change  in whatever solution is needed.  As a  Visionary, I am always looking forward to an inspiring future. 

I seem to have found a gift for seeing opportunity and planning for new situations, and I tend to get excited about what lies on the other side of a change.

I see change coming into my life and that is to help businesses in need that perhaps have never asked for assistance because they were embarrassed for whatever reason and to you my friends and future clients I say be who you are be yourself and just invite me for a cup of hot strong coffee and you will have my attention and we can talk about the future.

Last week I had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Santa Barbara Helene Schneider a very strong woman whom I have the highest respect for. Helene is all about change and bringing new ideas to to her city of Santa Barbara. I want to say thank you to her for taking the time from her busy schedule to stop by and say hello.

 

As a Facilitator, I focus on the specific needs of individuals and specific activities they need to support their day-to-day routines  to lead the change. I know the tasks that need to be accomplished to make measurable progress, and for you to succeed to reach your goals and dreams.

  

 There is always a shortage of people who get the job done on time without excuses or grumbling.

If you really study those who have reached the top of any organization, you will find that they are the people who cheerfully accept challenges, take the initiative, and get the job done. They don’t complain, and they don’t make excuses. Those who never get anywhere in their jobs and careers can’t seem to understand that achievers don’t become achievers after they reach the top. They reached the top because of the way they conducted themselves along the way.

You can easily become one of those individuals who regularly advance in the organization — if you are willing to pay the price. Any good manager will tell you that the type of people who are most in demand are those who can think for themselves, who will take the initiative to do the right thing without being told, and who will stick to the job until it is finished. You can be one of those people if you choose to be.

Good morning and hello my friends and how are we doing this beautiful Saturday morning. I was thinking to day about talking about a new way to search out in your mind who you are and where you want to be. I find that most people when I coach them either on life or just a career change they always want the change to happen instantly. 

I understand people want the changes in a career to happen immediately but the truth is that to make a career change it takes time and planning and much focus because there are so many piece to that puzzle that needs to take place.

Here is an example of what I mean: Let us say that you want to go out start a new job search and you feel that you have what it takes for this new position you are searching for. You start going to companies that you have targeted and you find that they are hiring but they are not hiring you. What happens after a while is that you begin to have doubts about who you are as a person and that is one thing you need to avoid at all times.

You need to stay positive at all times though sometimes that can be challenging for us as human beings and that is OK because that is part of life and we need to have that understanding from the get go. Then you need to realize that you do have the talent and the skills for that position you have been applying for.

 Then why is it that you are not hired!! Well take a look at yourself and figure out what you are doing and be aware of what is happening when you enter the interviewing process. Be aware of your body language and be aware of certain questions you might be asking prior to the hiring manager asking.

 What you do is to wait for the questions and makes sure you understand the question totally and answer it accordingly.

What you need to remember and must be aware is about who you are and what are you trying to convey during the interview. You must convey the skills specifically to the position you are applying for. Then comes the end question: Do you have any questions for me or for us if it is a panel? I find that most people become afraid to ask questions because they want the job and so they answer with a big NO! NONE.

What just happened? Well what happened is that you just bombed the interview because you showed no interest in the company, you are simply hoping for a job. So be aware of interview questions and do your diligent research on both the company and yourself and good luck on your next interview my friends and if you need any assistance let me know I am here to bring you solutions to your problems and situations.

One of the surest ways to achieve success is to observe the actions of successful people, determine what principles they regularly employ, and then use them yourself. The principles of success, as Andrew Carnegie said, are definite, they are real, and they can be learned by anyone willing to take the time to study and apply them. If you are truly observant, you will find that you can learn something from almost everyone you meet. And it isn’t even necessary that you know them. 

You may choose great people who are no longer alive. The important thing is to study their lives, and then learn and apply in your own life the specific principles these people used to achieve greatness.

In a world where no one really cares whether you survive as a business, what and how do you look at the your customers,family and friends? You see as a business solutions provider those are questions I will always ask you as an individual or business owner. The reason why is because of the following:

What are some of the real issues a small business owner is facing today.

Let look at some such as. Lack of marketing this is a big one though we as small business owners do not take a serious look at this we really should. We need t ask for help when we needed it the most. We need to reach out a to someone who can guide you through t hep process of marketing. 

We need to find someone who can walk us through the entire search for the right techniques that will meet our needs in our specific business that we are running.

What about budgeting? We need money to make money so everyone says right well the truth of the matter is that you do some pretty tight budgeting with little money as long as the little money you may have you spend it in the right areas that are needed the most and make the most sense in other words use some common sense.

How about managing your time as an owner correctly  oh yes time is money right well it can be if you manage it correctly and that takes some serious thinking yes critical thinking on how you are going to use your time. 

One must also learn the techniques that are out there right and if you cannot find the right way to utilize your time efficiently then hire someone to teach you immediately.There is more then meets the ye when it comes to managing your time and business.

We are always thinking about promising ourselves some downtime -- a few days or even hours when we cut back on our workload and give our self a chance to relax. So exactly when are do that? Today, can be that day take it cancel appointments and call and just relax we have to start some time might as well be today.you've got to start.

Good morning friends and how are we doing  on this Thursday morning? I hope and wish that everyone who reads my blog posts will have a wonderful day today and find that life is worth living when you enjoy life in the now and not worry about the past and not worry about what you have no control over.

How do you get started in life in the right direction well as hard as that may sound you can do and make the changes instantly if you choose to do so yes my friends it is that easy and that simple. You have to make the changes if you choose to do so but you have to want to make the changes because if you do not then nothing will change believe me I know from experience.

I have a question for you business owners. Is your business where it needs to be and if not why not? You see this also comes as a surprise to many because they make so difficult when all you have to do is change the way way you look at your business and how you look at your staff and customers. I know you might be saying if it was that easy Luciano we all would have done it right!

The thing is not whether you would have done it. The real question is are you ready to make the changes needed to move your business forward.

You have to be a leader and what exactly is a leader well let us see.

 A leader is not just someone who tells people what to do is it? A leader is someone who takes hold of the issues and manages the outcome. You must be able to manage the outcome form any situation. You see a leader must take responsibility of the outcomes and carry that responsibility whether the outcome is good or not so good and continue to move forward with a smile. What I find is that instead they will blame others for the not so good outcomes.

Good morning to all who read and follow me on Linked-in and facebook and twitter and numerous other social media networks. Today I would like to start with a little something from one of my favorite people in the world Mr. Napoleon Hill.

 

 The imagination is the workshop of the soul, where are shaped all the plans for individual achievement.

Before you can build anything worthwhile, you must first create it in your mind. Your mind is not constrained by physical limitations or boundaries. In the workshop of your mind, you can visualize things that have never been. It is said that Albert Einstein visualized how the universe might look if he were riding astride a beam of light through infinity. 

 

Then he worked out the mathematics to support his theory of relativity. You can use the power of your imagination to visualize solutions to difficult problems, to develop new ideas, and to see yourself achieving the goals you have set for yourself. 

If you read the above short story and I say short story because if you want to say someething to someone try to use short stories and you will find that people will understand you much better. Today I believe is but a few days away from a day that is celebrated all around the world and well it also my birthday so yes you will be celebrating my birthday HA Ha Ha Ha.

Success in business as well as in life comes when you plan it out. You must be very specific what you want the end result to be.

Many people know that I am a coach of the mind and a coach of the business world and a coach on life and to be honest when someone calls me a coach I smile because they are missing what I do. You see my friends I am someone that will bring about results to your life and to your business. I am the one who will not think about the money but about where you want to be with your business and your life.

There are many ways to celebrate any holiday but this one around the corner will be a very difficult for eveyone this year due what took place in Connecticut. I am not sure what to say or even what to think about that situation other then I truly feel horrible about it and I cannot even begin to fathom what those parents and family members are going through. 

What I can say is that my heart goes out to them and may God carry them through these times which will be most difficult.  

These things are not supposed to happen to a child and yet it has, perhaps now they the politicians will see the importance of gun control. We will have the pros and the cons on this issue and we all understand them both. 

Is this what it takes for changes to occur in our lives-to loose little lives. We can shed a tear or two if we are politicians and tell the world how sorry we are and show up at the places of where the situation occurred and that is all nice and fluffy but what what about the real issue?

We as people need to come together and stand up if not for ourselves for our children. People in the past fought wars to keep their children safe from harm and they continue to do so in other countries. I believe in peace but I also understand that sometimes that Peace can be and is threaten by outside sources and you have to protect yourself and your family.

We had a police officer come to our office to address this issue on violence and we asked questions and what it came to was that as an individual you do what you have to do to stay safe! and I was so no techniques or nothing and me being form a background on security minded from my personal background was taken aback because in my mind I was like WOW!! these guys are not trained.

Pretty scary really so I will be getting certified on safety so I can take care of this issue myself. 

In the business world there are so many changes that take place and real changes that need to take place in both life and whatever business one is taking on. The thing to do is to sit somewhere and write down what it is you want to achieve and then take time to write out a short plan to start the steps needed to get there.

 Success in business as well as in life comes when you plan it out. You must be very specific what you want the end result to be.

Business Family And Friends Don't Do It Santini-Self Development Enterprises

What happens when a deal goes bad with a person that you thought you knew and understood after many years and thought they were your friends? Well it just happened to me and normally I have a thing about not ever doing business with family members and friends simply because there is always that chance that something may go wrong and BAM!! friendship goes bad.

It happened to me this week and well it was like well sorry we could not work it out and I said really! over a lousy $50.00 and they said unfortunatley yes. I laughed to myself but then I said well I am not one to question destiny nor the reasons behind it because I believe that things happen for whatever reason lies behind it.  

You see sometimes things happen and you have no idea why,but one thing I have learned in life and about life is not to question the reasons though you may not be able to see them immediately the reasons will show up later and then you will have that aha moment. 

Do not misunderstand what I am saying here sometimes you can make some great deals with friends and family I have done that to, however I am very cautious about when and what. One thing is to have a great deal go bad but try to stay away from friends and family. 

I try to be as positive in life and business but sometimes your mind is challenged and well you face the challenges head on and the solution always comes if you wait for it that is right I said it!

Wait for it wait for it wait for it yes sometimes the issue might pretty tough but if you wait for the silver lining to appear it will.

 Here I am talking about the struggles a person can have and still find that silver lining. Sometimes we will take on death itself and beat it as many cancer patients have and won that battle. Sometime we will look into the eyes of pure evil and still prevail. We will look into darkness and still see a glimmer of light at the end and we follow it until we reach the light.

In Business well it is the same thing Just the other day I did a short seminar to a brand new business on customer service and teamwork and well I asked the owners a simple question.

LUCIANO SANTINI'S OUTLOOK ON "LIFE"

Well here we are again on A Saturday and what a day it has been so far let us see. One of our car's engine blew up so yes we need to either put in a new engine or buy a new one MMM. My other car starting leaking oil like crazy so we need to repair that once we figure out where the leak is from or buy a new one. That has been my morning . 

You see I am just like everyone out there when it rains it pours. What I have done so far. I woke up looked outside and walked  around and took a big breath of the fresh and cool air and filled my lungs and said thank you for another beautiful day of life. You see life is what you make of it and how you look at each situation.

I have no idea who wrote this but they have my credit. I say this because at one time I used something that someone sent me and they tried to get me to pay them like a hundred dollars and I said really so I removed it and well I have never seen that anywhere else again. 

People are greedy by nature I suppose but I ask the question WHY?? For those that feel philisophical please find me on facebook and leave me your comments.

Life is life and will always continue to move forward with the exception when it stops and when id does people say there is still somewhere to go and that may be the case however I have never experienced that but I have heard so I will leave it at that simply because I believe there might be something to that huh.

When I do a seminar on life I get asked so many questions and sometimes I do not have the answers and as silly as they might sound neither does anyone else, but being human beings we hope that there is always an answer and I am positive that there is however sometimes we have keep on searching for it. If life was that simple and when we want an answer it would just pop up well life would be boring!! That is my opinion of course.

When I do a seminar in business again I get asked so many questions as if to say well you have the silver bullet for my unfortunate demise of my business or you have the naswer to the why I have been looking for!!. 

I smile and I say to them well no! I do not have the silver bulet nor do I have any miracles for you but what I do have is some sound advice on perhaps could turn your business around depending where you are now and how you put it into use.

Clients are strange specially if they are looking for the answer to their needs and that is why it is so important to do your diligent research in your market or services.

 If you have a service and you believe you have the best service and yet you have three others like you in the neighborhood that believe the same thing then what do you do?

I do not about you but I would for sure go visit them and see what they offer that makes their customers leep coming back MMMM you see we all have something special to offer the world the trick is how well do we offer it that is it. 

Luciano Santini On Business and Life And Our Youth

Well hello my friends I almost forgot to blog MMMMM where is my mind lately. Well let just say that I have been really busy finishing up some translations and getting ready to do a bilingual seminar for the youth.

 I always look forward to doing these seminars because I really try to reach our youth, Many people are always saying how we are loosing our youth to the world and chaos of today and guess what!! I agree!!! Yes I do!!!

Meet my beautiful son he is eleven years old and yet he has a mind of an adult now do not get me wrong he is still a kid of course and he does all the things eleven year old kids do however he is an inspiration to me because sometimes out comes some things that I have only heard from adult conversations,now granted I take him to my meetings and seminars and he helps me out with all the computer set ups and projectors. 

He is good at it yes I taught him those things and yes he gets paid for doing a great job. I guess he is learning how to be responsible for what he does and for what he learns.

This is a testimonial from the most recent youth and parenting seminar for the a local school district.

 

He does great in school top of his class but the amazing thing about him is that he questions life. Really think about that how many kids and adults ever questions life. This important because most people ever do and when you do not question life then that means that you are comfortable and thus for will never ever progress forward. 

He has asked me about life in general and he has asked me about the future and though I may not have the answer which I do not but what I do tell him is we may not know the future there are ways on how to prepare for it and not be left behind specially in technology.

Lets talk a little about business owners. When do you id you are one question your customer service really be honest not with me but with yourself and your customers. Do you give your clients the best service you possibly can. Do you talk to them and ask them how your employees treat them? I'm just saying really my friends lets be real to a real world.

Some tips on how to give the best you can to your clients.

Ask yourself some of these questions;

 What outcomes (results, not activities) are to be achieved by this improvement initiative? How will their attainment be measured?

1. Have you identified which of the organization's products and services are most critical in carrying out its mission? If yes, what are the 10 most vital? If not, what method will you use for identifying and prioritizing them to create a strategic foundation for this initiative?
2. What specific numerical objectives and due dates have been established for improving priority outcomes, products and services? Are they being met?
3. Improvement initiatives are often aimed at general problem-solving and process management. As Drucker, Lawton, Deming and others have written, it is possible to solve internal problems and improve efficiency while failing to (1) meet customer needs or (2) function as an effective enterprise. Is the initiative intended to measurably increase both customer and employee satisfaction? By how much?
4. What is currently given higher organizational priority than customer satisfaction? 

Life,Business And Our Children Luciano The Key Santini

Good morning to all my friends. How are we doing on this beautiful morning? Today is a special day. It will be my son's birthday and we are preparing for his little friends to come over and enjoy a day of fun.

Here I am on my show that comes on every Saturday morning at 10:30 am for a half hour. I mostly talk about motivation because it seems that in these economical times people need to hear some hope. I know that when we feel down on our selves, for what ever reason, we need to hear some words of hope. I believe my show gives that to the world.

We live in a chaotic world do we not? Of course we do; our daily routine is nothing more then a variation of daily chaos. I'm not saying that life is not wonderful, because it truly is. What I am saying to you is that we need to stop and look for the beauty each day of our lives and feel it, enjoy it at every moment that we live.

Remember that we all have something special; you have something unique that no one else has but you. You need to learn what that is and be able to share it with the world. If we can learn to share our thoughts and our unique specialties, the world will surely be a very special place for each of us.

As a Business Coach there is so much to teach business owners, but the problem is simply that every owner feels they know everything about their business. What is the truth? The truth is that they do not. I may know lots of things but I never claim that I know everything because I am always learning something new at every moment in my life.

Life Coaching

This reminds me of a story I read a few days ago;

In 1972, Stanford psychologist Walter Mischel concocted an ingenious experiment involving young children and a bag of marshmallows. He put a marshmallow on the table and told each child that if he (or she) could wait 15 minutes to eat it, they would get a second one as a reward.

Two-thirds of the kids flunked miserably. Some caved in at once; videotapes show others struggling to discipline themselves - some even banging their little heads on the table.

But the surprising results of the study came years later. Researchers followed up on the children to see how their lives progressed. Turns out the kids who exercised forbearance rather than eating the marshmallows at once had SAT scores 210 points higher. They were also more likely to finish college, enjoyed significantly higher incomes, were far less likely to go to jail and suffered fewer drug and alcohol problems.

What does this mean? It means we should love our kids. Our kids should have a good understanding that they need to treat other as they would like to be treated with respect and dignity.But if we really want them to succeed in life, we should also teach them the benefits of working hard and staying focused on their goals and their dreams..

Education takes time and persistence. Professional attainments require concentrated effort. Saving and investing - instead of spending - takes discipline. Successful parenting means sacrifice and commitment.

The world stands aside and makes room for the person who knows where he is going and is on his way.

When you have a vision for what you wish to achieve in your life, not only will others stand aside and let you pass, but they will join you in your quest as well. They will instinctively recognize your enthusiasm and zest for living. 

When you speak of your passion in life, your definite major goal, they will see the intensity of your desire, and they will respond with encouragement and assistance or they will stand aside. It will be apparent to all who know you that you will succeed. 

I read this about ten times because it has a such a deep meaning to me and because it is so true. go ahead a read it a few times for yourself my friends.
