There Will Be A Time In Your Life When You Give Yourself a Choice

Good morning to all around the globe who motivate me each and every day by writing me back on concerns and issues that you as the individual are going through or know someone who is trying to get through a difficult time. I know sometimes we as individuals have no outlet to talk and we sometimes find it on the Internet. Life is said to be a tapestry that has been created in the mind. I believe that you as an individual and human being can change the environment around you any time you choose to do so.

BUSINESS WORLD

ACTION
When you decide to find the plan for your dreams in either business or inside yourself it all begins with a state of mind, with definiteness of purpose.
I find business owners struggle all the time and you might think that I am talking about customers or services or products or lack of. As a business owner I am talking about the struggles that owners go through from within. There are many business owners that I have coached and what I find their biggest struggle to be is making choices.

The choice to hire the right person.
The choice on what to pay them?
The choice of training they will be given?
The choice of products or services the company should have?
The list goes on and on.

There comes a time in life when we give ourselves a choice. Do we continue doing something just because we’re used to it, or do we break away into the unknown and try to start all over, in the hopes that it would actually give us genuine pleasure? Contributor

I also believe there will be many choices we give ourselves not just one time but many times in our lifetime. The key to all the choices we will give ourselves will be whether we learn anything from the bad choices we make.

Your progress in life begins in your own mind and ends in the same place.
Every great accomplishment began with the germ of an idea in the mind of a great person, then was shaped for practical usefulness and finally transformed into reality. Make your mind a fertile ground for ideas through constant study and learning, and condition through constant practice to discipline yourself to follow through on your good ideas. The most brilliant concept in the world is only a dream unless you take action. Even a mediocre idea that is put into practice is far more valuable than a flash of genius that languishes in a fallow, undisciplined mind.

The individual who has time only for gossip and slander is too busy for success.
Each of us has a finite amount of time, energy, and money; you must choose for yourself how you will spend them. If you elect to squander your resources by demeaning others in an attempt to advance your own interests, you will soon find that so much of your time and energy has been spent on gossip and slander that you have little time left for yourself. If you deal in malicious information, you’ll rarely be trusted. As the saying goes, “Those who talk about others to us will talk about us to others.”
You see my friends when you read the message above you will have a better understanding of the mind and how we think and sometimes believe. You as the person that is wanting to make that dream a reality must take some kind of action towards it. An individual has the potential to create their own future if you but look farther in the back of your mind and you will find what you need to make any dream come true.

I was once asked what my dreams were and if I had any. This question was posed to me about twenty years ago and at that time I had no clear answer. I remember when asked I started to just rambled about dreams that I wanted to accomplish. I was then asked what action had I taken or If I had a plan written down. I believe all of my answers were very vague or a big NO!!.

I have made many speeches on this subject and each time I do I ask the very same question to clients; What are your dreams? What do you think the answers are? They are very similar to what mine were twenty years ago. You as a human being must understand that you have the potential inside to change your life and take it in any direction that you choose to do so.

One of the most difficult speeches for me is to the incarcerated youth. They tell me of their friends who have been left behind by parents or friends who at one time trusted. They see a world that has forgotten them. They see and talk about why they did what they did to get them where they are today. I tell them that the treason they seem to be stuck is simply because they need to change their mind and how they perceive the world to be but rather see the world for what it really is.

The world is a nasty and chaotic place everyone trying to get somewhere in a hurry and sometimes running people over to get there. You see my friends that is the truth. Perhaps you do not believe me but all you have to do is turn on the news or listen to the news on the radio on your way to work or better yet listen to your co workers at your place of employment.

In spite of all of this you can change your mind of how you see the world. I would say understand the world for how it truly is and once you are able to catch on to the truth then you can change it how ever you like to fit your dreams. I can tell you from true experience that the world can be the happiest place but you as the individual must take action to create it in your mind first.

Understanding The Difference Between Knowing And Sharing Information

Hello and good morning to all who continue to support my journey trying to change minds around the world by teaching a new perspective in both business and life. In business it is all a matter of learning what makes people tick and to get them to believe in your dreams. Then you have the clients who need to believe in your service or business. In business it means that you need to reach out and teach the community who you are and what you do and what you mean to the community.

In real life we know as business owners that to achieve is to believe and to believe means to be able to achieve anything we set our minds to. The issues we all run into is procrastination in both business and life. I love the following article on procrastination.

Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.
For an achiever, perhaps the most dangerous, most destructive habit of all is procrastination, for it robs you of your initiative. When you put things off once, it’s easier to put them off again, until the habit is so firmly ingrained that it cannot be easily broken. Sadly, the effects of the habit of procrastination are also cumulative. Its cure is obvious — action. You’ll be surprised how quickly you begin to feel better about yourself and your situation when you get going on something — anything. As British prime minister and author Benjamin Disraeli said, “Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.”

I believe that the new leaders today are starting to fade out and a new kind of leaders are on the rise:We need to prepare for the new type of leadership. We need to have a clear understanding of the changes in the minds of people and the gaps that are there in the world and we also need to be aware of managing not at a micromanagement level but at a knowledge based level.

Leadership by the New Generation

Bridging the Age Gap

The new batch of leaders often have a completely different way of working from their older counterparts. (Keep in mind that not everyone in these generations fits the characteristics we'll talk about: we're going to make some huge generalizations here, however, hopefully these generalizations will be useful!)

For example, while boomers usually view long hours as evidence of loyalty and hard work, Gen X and Y tend to try to have more work/life balance. They've seen their parents' lack of quality of life, and the lack of loyalty companies showed to these hard-working parents in the 1990s, and they're not impressed.
They want flexible hours, more vacation time, continuous training, and telecommuting options. They expect to leverage technology to work efficiently, instead of staying late in the office to get everything done.
Boomers have traditionally felt that you have to "pay your dues" to your company – and if you hate your job, that's just part of life. Generations X and Y typically don't accept this; they want and need more, intellectually stimulating work – and they don't want someone watching them too closely to check on their progress. These new groups are independent, creative, and forward thinking. They celebrate cultural diversity, technology, and feedback, and they prefer more of a "lattice" or individualized approach to management (as opposed to the traditional "corporate ladder").

The new generations also tend to like teamwork.Statistics have shown that colleague relationships rank very high on Gen X and Y's list of priorities. Things like salary and prestige can often rank lower than boomers might expect, or might want for themselves.

The key difference between knowledge and information is that knowledge gives us the power to take action. We can use it.

Mind Tools - Essential skills for an excellent careerThere are also two different types of knowledge, explicit and tacit:
  • Explicit knowledge includes things that you can easily pass on to someone else by teaching it or putting it into a database or a book. Explaining your company's safety protocols to a new team member is demonstrating explicit knowledge.
  • Tacit knowledge is less quantifiable. It's when you know that your company's best client won't make a deal unless you go golfing with her. Or when you know that your department's smallest supplier is also the most reliable one, but only if you place your order by the 15th of every month. This is knowledge that's most often learned by experience. It's the stuff you know, but don't necessarily know that you know.

Benefits of Knowledge Management

The major benefit of knowledge management is that information is easily shared between staff members, and that knowledge isn't lost if someone goes on vacation, gets sick, or leaves the company.

"Someday" For Many Has Become Self Destruction!!!!! SSDE-Luciano The Key Santini

Good morning to all and thank you for a great 2014. I would like to say how thankful and grateful I am to all those who continue to support me and my dream to be able to serve those in need either personally to accomplish and reach their individual potential or to serve your business to move it forward to the next level to reach potential and compete. I have always said that when you have a dream then you must take that first step because simply if you do not it will never ever happen it will always be "Someday".

We all sometimes believe that we cannot reach our dreams or our goals because we tend to learn habits of what I call self destruction. What I mean is that we all sit around and think up these grandiose dreams and believe at that moment that yes they can be accomplished but then that little annoying voice creeps up in the back of our minds and we tell ourselves subconsciously that it is true and so it becomes true.

If we worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true really is true, then there would be little hope for advance.

- Orville Wright - 1871-1948, Inventor and Aviation Pioneer

I really like this quote because these guys were guys that were visionaries of the future. I wish I could sit with them and ask a million questions because believe me I know about questions. The first one that I would ask is- How many people told you that you were insane to believe that could fly?
I wonder what the answer would be and if you have read their story please let me know if that answer is in their books. I am sure it is somewhere.

I ask that very same question to regular everyday hardworking people but with a twist. The question that I ask is- What are your dreams and the look on their face and yes it never fails is priceless!! The I follow up with why do you have that look? Guess what the answer is?

Some say those dreams are dead got married!--Really!
Other say -- Always to busy and have forgotten!
And some say-- It is to hard!!

But the best answer I get is no has taken the time to ever ask me about my dreams thus I have no idea how to answer at this moment.

That answer above shocks me because we have that capability to make any changes in our minds and within ourselves to never stop dreaming. We have control over what we think and do and yet we fail ourselves because of the Nay Sayers and that dam! annoying voice we believe from inside of our minds.

It's not enough to WANT to do better, you need to TAKE ACTION on your wants and your dreams.

The mistake most of us will make in life in trying to reach our goals and dreams is that we think we can get there alone. Do not think that it is not possible because I have seen people reach goals on their own but usually takes them a long long time to get there.

The climb upward will be easier if you take others along with you.

When you take the initiative, you become a de facto leader whose success will depend in large measure upon your ability to inspire others to work with you. They will follow your lead when they have confidence in you and when they know they will share in your success. Few of us are good enough or lucky enough to achieve great success completely on our own. We need others to help us. When we give more in return than we ever ask of our friends and associates, not only will we be able to accomplish much more in life, but it will also make the entire experience much more enjoyable.

I found this interesting article for those that are having a hard time getting back to the routine.
It can be difficult to get backinto the workplace routine following the holidays, especially when dealing with workplace disruptions.

How Did You Do In Business Or In Life Last Year 2014!!! SSDE

Hello to ll my readers and guess what? Here is the new year umm I believe it is now 2015!!
Here are some serious questions to ask yourself:
How was my self respect last year?
How did I do last year?
Did I do all I could have done to move forward in both my personal life and my business?
How did I do with family?
How did I do in my relationships?

I love this wisdom from one of my mentors Napoleon Hill: He says that if we only do what we need to to get by then and expect to have everything we can think of. I believe that we as humans believe that we need to work hard and sometimes we do not get what we want or accomplish what we want and we simply give up and thus only do what we need to do to get by and live our lives accordingly. I believe people in general get ambition mixed up with persistence and never get out of that mind set and stay stuck forever. The questions above are simply a way to get your mind to think about who you are as a person and to perhaps get you motivated when you sit and think about the year that just went by 2014.

The individual who only does enough work to get by seldom gets much more than “by.”

There is a cause-and-effect relationship between your actions and the rewards that accrue to you. When you put more of yourself into your career, your personal relationships, your religious faith, and any other aspect of your life, you get more out of it. If your ambitions are greater than simply “getting by” in life, you will never be truly happy with your company, your job, or yourself unless you do your best every day. Your harshest critic and your toughest competitor should be you.

Well my last year was one of the best years it was a year of great accomplishments and many sacrifices. It is was year of many long nights and much studying which gave me the knowledge to reach heights I never thought I would but again with many sacrifices.People I have to tell you that if you want to accomplish anything in life there will always be a sacrifice so you have to know and understand that and if you do not then you are really not accomplishing anything and that my friends is the bottom line.

As a life coach and business coach my job is to make sure that either the business or the individual reaches the heights he or she or business want to reach and not just a plan of action. Many people believe that if a coach gives you a plan of action it is all well because you have the schematic to change.

I always laugh when I see the plans of actions that were given to people who seek my assistance in reaching their goals. I ask them one simple question whether a business owner or an individual.

HAVE YOU FOLLOWED IT?

The answers I get are amazing to me because they forgot to teach the steps- step by step they simply gave the plan but what was forgotten was the techniques in other words how to do it. Our schools are the same now in our education system. The kids need help to read not simply give them books to read. The world needs to change not simply told to change it needs people to take to the streets and make the changes.

In business my friends you do not need someone to tell you to make the changes or the changes that need to happen: You need someone to explain the changes and why they need to happen and work with you side by side to make sure not only the changes take place but the right changes take place; if not it will be a waste of time and money.

In this world of chaos we need brotherhood in life and in business to reach full potential.
Santini Self Development Enterprises works with your company as a whole but also with the individuals who are expected to change their attitudes towards the better of the organization. This is why SSDE is the solutions provider to the self and to the world of business. In our business we believe as serving you the business owner your staff and clients and not sell you anything but add value to your business, your staff and your clients lives. Our core value is to place the needs of the client before the needs of SSDE.

One of the things that most business owners never realize is many times times they have what they need they simply need to refine their tactics and perhaps retrain staff or management or both. The real questions becomes How do we do that?

Any job contains opportunities for personal growth if you approach it as a positive learning experience. Just as every business is required to adapt to new technologies, new competitors, and countless other changes that routinely occur, so is every individual. In a dynamic organization, it is impossible to master every task; just when you think you have everything figured out, things change. Accept such changes as a necessary aspect of business, one that makes life interesting and exciting. Napoleon Hill
