Embracing Success: The Journey of the Empowered Woman

In the ever-changing landscape of the modern world, the path to success for a woman is both challenging and exhilarating. It requires not just hard work and persistence but also an unwavering commitment to authenticity and self-awareness. The journey to success is not just about climbing the ladder but also about staying rooted, understanding your worth, and acknowledging the people who have stood by you. In this remarkable journey, a powerful tool that enhances motivation and leadership qualities is the EVAN leadership style, a concept pioneered by the insightful CEO, Luciano Santini of Common Sense Consulting.

E for Empathy: Empathy, the cornerstone of human connection, stands tall as the first pillar of the EVAN leadership style. Successful women understand the power of empathy. They comprehend the aspirations, struggles, and emotions of those around them. By empathizing deeply, they foster genuine relationships, creating a network of support that becomes their bedrock in the pursuit of their goals.

V for Value: The 'V' in EVAN represents 'Value,' a principle that successful women hold close to their hearts. They recognize the significance of delivering value in every endeavor. Whether in professional roles or personal relationships, they strive for excellence, setting high standards that inspire others. Creating value becomes not just a goal but a way of life, ensuring that every action resonates with purpose and meaning.

A for Attitude against all Negativity: In the face of challenges and setbacks, attitude becomes the game-changer. Successful women maintain a positive attitude against all negativity, viewing obstacles as stepping stones rather than roadblocks. This resilience fuels their determination and acts as a driving force, propelling them toward their aspirations.

N for Nourishment of the Mind: Nourishing the mind is a practice championed by successful women. They understand the transformative power of continuous learning and personal development. Through reading, education, and exploration, they enrich their minds, gaining new perspectives and skills. This
nourishment not only enhances their individual growth but also equips them to inspire and uplift others.

Understanding the EVAN leadership style propels women toward not just success but also fulfillment. By embodying empathy, valuing their contributions, maintaining a positive attitude, and investing in continuous learning, women unleash their full potential. Importantly, this journey is not solitary; it paves the way for the future. The power of successful women today is not just in their achievements but in the trails they blaze for the generations to come.

In essence, the story of a successful woman is not just her own; it's a narrative of resilience, determination, and empowerment that resonates across generations. As more women embrace the EVAN leadership style, they don't just lead; they inspire, nurture, and pave the way for a future where every woman's success story is not an exception but a norm.

We all face various situations and circumstances in life

We all face various situations and circumstances in life. Some of these are out of our control, while others are within our power to change. However, it is important to remember that our situation and circumstances do not define who we are. We are defined by how we respond or react to our situation.

No matter what we are facing, it is important to keep a positive outlook and to remain resilient. We can’t always change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails to reach our destination. It is important to remember that we have the power to shape our own lives and to make the best of any situation.

We can choose to be defined by our circumstances or we can choose to be defined by our resilience and our courage in the face of adversity. We can choose to be defined by our strength and our ability to rise above our circumstances. No matter what we are facing, we can choose to be defined by our courage and our determination to reach our goals.

Things to think about when you mentor someone!!

Things to think about when you mentor someone!!

Sometimes it seems like the main source of benefits in a mentorship is for the mentee, but nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is, the mentor can be the one who gets more out of the relationship. Let's look at a few of the benefits of being a mentor.
 Makes Everything Feel New Again
It's kind of like watching a child play in a park. You learn everything new again from their fresh view of life. Butterflies look more colorful, flowers smell better, and everything is a lot more fun. The same applies if you're a mentor for an up-and-coming star in your company, or any company. It's fun to watch them learn and grow, and it feels good to see.
 Improves Job Satisfaction
Mentorships can help you avoid job boredom in your job. You'll feel a lot more satisfied with your job when you realize that someone else would love your job and are in fact trying to become who you are. It feels great that someone will someday take over where you left off.
 Encourages Self-Reflection
When you work with someone who is hungry, it can help you reflect on yourself and what you're doing in your career. Are you really doing enough? How well do you know yourself? This relationship will help you think about these factors.
 Builds More Professional Relationships
When you start working with mentees, you're going to build a network of people who like you, know you, and trust you - even when they move on to a new corporation or start a new business. They're going to think of you, recommend you, and want to keep working with you in some way.
 Increases Peer Recognition
When you are a mentor for others and take care in your mentorships, your peers will respect you for doing it and think of you when it comes to leadership. They're going to see you as more of a leader than others, and that can pay off for you.
 Enhances Learning and Development
When you're trying to help someone else see their learning deficiencies and improve upon them, you're going to notice yours more too. You're going to want to be a good example by taking more classes, going to seminars, and improving your own development.
 Grows Your Network

For every mentee you work with, your network is going to grow by not just one but probably five to ten people due to the people you'll meet through them, and the people you'll meet for them when you look for people to help them.
If you want to garner these benefits of being a mentor, it's important to seek to be a great mentor by learning about the skills needed, taking your mentorships seriously, and putting a lot into it. You get out of it what you put into it, just like everything else in life. #leadership #EVAN STYLE #career #people #leader #work #network

Be Thankful Specially To All Those Naysayers For They Will Make You Stronger- Dr. Luciano Santini

What a weekend? I hope that all my readers and families had a beautiful and wonderful and full of joy Thanksgiving!!! There are so many things to be thankful for. I talk to so many people who do not realize what they have to be thankful and grateful for but complain about everything.

One has to be happy just to be alive to be able to wake up the next day and say wow! I made it another day. Each day that I awake I am grateful and thankful to spend one more day with my beautiful wife and kids. When I speak to people or clients regarding their attitudes towards others they flinch and well the responses are not very nice: So I ask them why and of course I get every excuse not to be nice, thankful or grateful. My job at this point of course is to bring them back to reality and ask the right questions.

Do you have food on your table? Yes is the answer. Well there are many who struggle each day. Is your health good? Yes is the answer: There are those who struggle to breath each day. Do you have kids that have good health? Yes is the answer: There are those parents who spent their days in the hospitals around the world next to their kids to make it another day.

The world is not a very nice place people will always say and I say it is  not the world that is not nice but the individuals who live in it and who create the environment around them. There is so much hate, greed and miscommunication that it creates wars around the world and our neighborhoods. People then ask me questions like; Tell me how do you stay so positive.

It is not easy but you have to make the effort if peace is what you want. You have to smile when you should be screaming. You need to walk away from an argument when you feel like punching that person in the face. You need to cry whether you are a man or a woman when something hurts including words.

Be thankful not just for all that you have but also for what you do not have. Be thankful for all those that you love and also for those who hurt you because those will be the ones to give you strength and poise and push you forward while they will live in their negativity and not know it.

Think about how sad it is for those who try to hurt you and you just smile at them. Think about those who have tried to make you look bad at your company and you just continue to help. Think about those who wish you harm or failure only to find them fail within. I would say be thankful for all of the above.

How many time have you had a great idea and share it only to be taken and used before you had an opportunity to use it yourself. It happens all the time to me and that is why I only share stuff that is old and has been used by me prior and has been published somewhere. IDEAS!

Ideas-Napoleon Hill

Ideas are intangible forces, but they have more power than the physical brains that give birth to them. They have the power to live on, after the brain that creates them has returned to dust.

Remember, you can place under obligation to you anyone you can induce to accept favors from you.

It is a very basic human characteristic that we tend to respond to others in the same way they treat us. They will always remember the kindness you extended, and someday when you need it most, help will appear from a totally unexpected source. The kindness and courtesies you extend to others need not be large and expensive.

A kind word, a friendly greeting, or assistance with a favorite project lets others know that you care enough about them to lend a helping hand. When you help another cheerfully and enthusiastically without asking for anything in return, the law of compensation places that person in your debt. You have made a friend who is now interested in your success.

Organizational Transformation and Development and Leadership-Luciano Santini

Good morning to all around the world who continue to motivate me to keep writing my articles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I mostly enjoy reading the feedback that receive on my articles which is great because it makes me want to write every day which I would if I did not have any kids hahahahahahah!!!!!!

Part of life is managing our time to the fullest each and every day which at times can become difficult to do.
I find that sometimes we find ourselves in self pity and guess what happens we get sucked into this black hole of hell? I find that self pity can become like a drug and you can become addicted to it. Have you ever been to the doctor with a severe pain?

I know you have at one point or another and the doctor say well you will have to take these pain pills for a while as needed to ease the pain. The pain continues and the medicine does not work anymore because you have built a tolerance for it thus you will go back to the doctor and he will prescribe a stronger medicine. The same is true with self-pity. The more you let yourself to live in it, the more you will require.

After a while, self-pity will create a habit, one so overwhelming that it will rob you of all the potential you possess.I have found when I work one on on with someone that the issues that have caused the self pity in the first place have been problems created by the same person. I then find that after talking more about the issues the same person becomes the only person to remedy the situation.

Now let speak on Organizational Transformation what it
means to so many out there: To me it means :

Having a  leader with a strong character who can communicate a strong new vision
 from top to bottom.

First let me start by saying that they are extremely costly. Transforming organizations into proactive entities reduces costs and eliminates duplication and non value-added processes, which is key to improving the bottom line and improving product and/or service delivery at the same time.I have worked in restructuring  systems and processes with  a few organizations and I have found that the issues is usually never with the vision or the mission but with the people who have no idea how to implement the procedures.

I have found that you have your top management and then your lower level managers and then your supervisors who simply pass along the information and the new processes that need to take place. I find myself laughing inside when they in turn turn around and expect their staff to just have a full understanding on what to do.

One of my mentors once told me a simple way to run an operation. He said to me usually the plan is in lace and usually it is a good plan however what happens during implementation is that they (Top Management) try to re-invent the wheel and you do have to do that just make the wheel roll better-Brian Card.

The techniques to implement vary of course on the needs of any company at the moment but one for sure which should be a given is that employees need to have the proper training by the proper people who actually have a good understanding on the change and is able to convey that information in a way that people do not take it the wrong way such as making them feel dumb-I could have used the word incompetent but let us use simple words which I find much easier to understand myself.

I will however use the word incompetent for top players in any organization and please I do not mean all top level management because I have learned from some great leaders and they are out there.

The problem comes when you have a bright leader who is great in operations and creates some great ideas for change but by the time it gets to the lower managers it becomes a joke because they only read the directions but have no ideas how to implement to their staff so they pass along the procedures and directions but never follow up or pass along specifics.

The other issue is of course the strategic plan and how it pertains to the rest of the company once it has been created. The alignment between the human resources department and the rest of the organization must be aligned with the end results.
Communication with both internal and external customers however I find that it is paramount that the communication with internal customers is clear and specific and should always be the primary concern making sure the understanding of the strategic plan is understood.

I have seen so many strategic plans come and go to staff and they read it and will tell you that they understand it so you can leave them alone because they know that you as the leader have no idea what it means and they know that you will not follow up and so the organization will continue into a down spiral direction until doors close and customers go elsewhere.

Drifting, without aim or purpose, is the first cause of failure.

Without a plan for your life, it is easier to follow the course of least resistance, to go with the flow, to drift with the current with no particular destination in mind. Having a definite plan for your life greatly simplifies the process of making hundreds of daily decisions that affect your ultimate success. When you know where you want to go, you can quickly decide if your actions are moving you toward your goal or away from it. Without definite, precise goals and a plan for their achievement, each decision must be considered in a vacuum.

Definiteness of purpose provides context and allows you to relate specific actions to your overall plan.

Truth,Trust and Communication-Luciano The Key Santini SSDE

The truth WOW such simple words and yet so sought out for everywhere. What is it about truth that amazes human beings? Let us start with business partners in any organization. If one cannot be honest to the other disaster will surely follow.

I have found out in my years of practice training and coaching executives that when I ask the question;Tell me what truth means to you? The stories I hear are crazy to me because a partnership in a business is like a marriage.

Many experts agree that trust is perhaps the most important element of a harmonious, synergistic and efficient work environment and personal relationships.

Organizations that have trust among employees are usually successful, those that don't frequently are not.
So, management often asks, "how can we build trust in the workforce, and how can we avoid losing it?" Well, it all starts at the very top, since trustfulness - and trustworthiness - can exist only if top management sets the example, and then builds that example into every department and unit.

The ingredients are as follows;
Truth
Trust
Communication

If anyone of those three are missing the relationship in business should end sooner then later simply because there is no trust or truth and somewhere down the lone it will end anyway and perhaps in a very unfriendly way.

If you look at organizations successful of both today and yesterday, we find their leaders fostered these three principles of creating trust. Look back at some of past histories leaders(Augustus Caesar, Oliver Cromwell and George Washington),  These great leaders built trust, truth and great communication among their superiors, peers and subordinates, and it was this that spurred success and greatness for themselves, their units, alliances and companies.

Now of course lets go into one of my favorite mentors that I have studied for over  fourteen years now;

There is something about truth that makes it easily recognizable by all who are searching for it with open minds.
Cookie mogul Wally Amos is fond of quoting the saying, “The mind is like a parachute. It functions best when opened.” When you open your mind to the possibilities, objectively analyze information, and refuse to allow your personal preferences and biases to influence your judgment, you will be able to perceive great truths that have been overlooked by others. A closed mind, though, will cause you to miss out on some of life’s greatest offerings.
My son what an inspiration of truth and trust
If you find yourself disputing the facts, or if you keep attempting to revise them to support your beliefs, ask yourself, “Why am I so unwilling to accept this information? Am I being logical, or am I simply allowing my emotions to cloud my judgment?” The worst mistake you may ever make is trying to persuade yourself to accept a false truth. It is inappropriate to try to fool others, but when you fool yourself, disaster is sure to follow.

Here is a short video that will help you reach your goals. Let me know what you think.
