STUPIDITY

Hello it has been a little while my friends,
 
 I believe always in doing the right thing. What is leadership and what it stands for; 
 
1) Leadership is defined as “a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more coherent and cohesive.” A good leader is one who is always three steps ahead of the others. He looks out for the people before himself not the other way around which most do-go ahead and prove me wrong! 
 
 2) “A great leader posses a clear vision, is courageous, has integrity, honesty, humility and clear focus. ... Great leaders help people reach their goals, are not afraid to hire people that might be better than them. The ones who are afraid and keep the good ones down and away from becoming shinning stars!! Why!! 
 
3) My friend Faydeyi Femi says that; Humanity will remain endangered if it fails to understand the concept of leadership well which is akin to servant hood and servitude.A good leader must be a good servant in deed and in act.Any leader that fails in being a good servant has failed woefully and it can be concluded that such a leader has misconstrue the concept of leadership as a tool of oppression. hashtagleadership hashtaghumility hashtagrights

I would like to dedicate the first paragraph to all the Veterans out there and to what MEMORIAL DAY means.
 
Memorial Day is a US federal holiday wherein the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces are remembered.[1] The holiday, which is celebrated every year on the final Monday of May,[2] was formerly known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War.

 By the 20th century, Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service. It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end.

Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries.


Well I guess what I would like to say is thank you to all who continuously believe in my abilities to be able to change the world one mind at a time and businesses as well Thank you Thank you soooooo very much.
Today was a very special day because I was not able to create or write my blog this morning because I had to get up early and practice with my son for his playoff game against an undefeated team and guess what he was prepared when the time came.

The team won the game and so now they will play them one more time because the other team beat us two weeks ago.

Why am I talking about a kids game well because if stop and watch kids either playing at the playground or playing in one of these games we can learn things like: What it is to have fun?  What it is means to live in the moment? I find that most people once they grow up and start a job and a family they forget to live in the moment and forget what it is to have fun.

These kids were having fun and yet playing their hearts out because they knew that if they lost the season would be over. When I speak to employers about their staff or team I ask a basic question does your team realize that if they do not play as a whole they may loose the season. The employer always asks -I do not understand what you mean.

 I state to them that if the staff does not understand the game of customer service then they will lose their paying customers and eventually y lose their jobs. You see if employees cannot have fum while doing their jobs then as an owner you need to take a real close look at this and find people that will have fun and enjoy your customers and each other.

Now let us talk about facts and feelings
I as leaders all the time how do you manage your people in this type of business and of course they never have the right answer because they themselves manage with feelings and make their daily choices with feelings ouch!!! I always think about the poor guy that no one likes because someone a long time ago started a rumor that he was a horrible employee therefore everyone treated him accordingly.

If you make choices based on feeling and emotions then you will always make the wrong choices because emotions will always get the better of us.

Make choices based on facts and not emotions. I hope this makes sense and if does not then let me know why not OK? Ok.

Are you the kind of employee you would like to have if you were the boss? 

When you are considering a difficult decision or when you are thinking about how to avoid an unpleasant assignment, ask yourself, “If this were my company, how would I handle this situation?” When your answer is that you would take precisely the same action you are considering as an employee, you are headed for bigger and better things. You will soon be the boss.

What Is Empathy And Do We Truly Understand It's Meaning--Luciano The Key Santini--SSDE


Good morning to all my friends and readers oh my readers are my friends. I want to talk about how each one of us are connected in one way or another. I was at a seminar on leadership and you know what I learned was that indeed we are all connected through the universal string of energy. I know we may not understand what exactly means but we are. 

Have you ever been watching a movie or even better yet the Olympics and you see that one person who just won the gold and you either get emotional or you get the chills. That is because we are feeling that human emotion and connection. My question then becomes why is it that some people do not understand empathy and passion and compassion for others, Why? Why? I have done some research and find that people are just being human when it comes to their own benefit. What I mean by this is that when it benefits you the individual you do not think about the impact that the move you are about to make will make on that other person. 

Be true to yourself and believe you can actually live by your beliefs and do the right thing

The unfortunate thing is that it exists everywhere, The place where it needs to be erased is that in large organizations it is a prevalent situation and it shows so much more.The unfortunate thing is that Unfortunately one cannot do a thing about it. It is very tiring and more frustrating to see people who seem your leaders become bigots in front of you and all you do is smile because you see who they really are. Well my friend stick on your strong beliefs and try to influence those around you to do the right thing. If I can influence one persons attitude then I have accomplished something.

The other real truth to all of this is that most people are or like to be simple. They only see what is in front of them example unemployment-Need to get a job obvious right!! right.The reasons is because they have not taken the time to learn about what is going on around them or to learn about life in general.They do not learn about politics or economics beyond their scope of comfort.




Reason this often happens is because people become lazy in the way they think and taking learned habits from friends and family and never think for themselves. How many times do you see people create an issue at your place of work and blame others and never take ownership of what they have created and many many times you will see someone else pay for their mistakes. The other issue comes in on leadership some people believe that they are great leaders when in fact they are only mediocre to say the least because they are actually part of the problem.

I have worked and have seen it personally where many fall into this little world of thinking and as frustrating as it is for those that are have self awareness it becomes very very frustrating and have to tolerate this type of behaviors. Reward people for bad behavior because as a supposed leader you have no idea how to create a solution for the situation you have created. I laugh inside when I see this type of leadership and sad at the same time because these people simply fold under pressure and other pay by receiving punishment for doing a great job.

Now ask yourself and write me your comments I'm very interested in hearing from you. What kind of message does this send to the environment and community?

If you are empathetic then you can see the world as a community and try to help others and if you are not then you are the type that if you are in a leadership or management roll and what is worse you manage because of your position and power then you simply exploit others for your own survival and that is one sad way to manage others or what is worst you actually believe you are a leader. 

Another perspective is that you will see many people cry and moan about everything. These are the type that do not see anything past their noses-sad I know but so true. 

You have the leaders who really cannot see past their noses and yet somehow they are managing you. How the hell did that happen!! Well government agencies and some private industries where family members are the heads of operations ha ha ha that is funny. I have to have some humor in all of this Aw Common Laugh a little!!!!!

BUSINESS TIPS
I will start by saying that we all need to take a look at our human resources department and see if we have the right people in the right positions to make our business grow. This is a department that most large and small business owners forget about and this out of mind out of sight issue can and will create some big issues in your business if not looked at.


 What can happen is that you will think that you have the right people in the right positions when in actuality you may have all the wrong people in the key positions and well you get the picture where I am going with this so get on it and take a look at your human resources.

Today we will start with a big HELLO to all my friends and clients who continue to support and believe in what I do. Thank you Thank you . Today we will talk a bit about Networking and what it can do for you as a businessman and as an individual. I always let people know and clients that sometimes we need to get out of where we have been for so long in order for any kind of change to take place.

Change is good though so many will resist,but guess what we should know that going into any new venture or when we present any kind of new idea or process that is human nature. How many times have we me included walked into a situation and said  ( What The Hell) is this common be honest!! now!! because I know we all have done it and perhaps said it out loud like I did. What now I have to change my routine and this new manager is coming in like he knows it all mmmm no way this is not happening.


Inspiration sometimes will change the mind of a person simply by looking at what is and at what is not. You see what is is what is at the moment and it is not going to change unless you change your attitude and your perspective on what ever the change is. I say inspiration because I know that at times I have had to find that what inspires me to keep moving forward though I did not want to do so.

I have a friend who was almost separated from his wife and children and he called me and said what do I do and I asked what have you tried and he said everything and I said OK lets take it step by step my friend.

I asked him what inspires you? He said my children. I then went on to help him see things from a different perspective and to make the changes in order to have his family back. He was resisting change and sometimes when we resist change it can cause our most close relationships to go to @#$%^%^& HE#$%LL.

To say that the change took place and now he is happy with his family and living in a bigger house better job and him and his wife could not be any happier YAY!!! Change sometimes needs to take place in order to survive in both business and life.

The key is in your mind at all times. This is the place where we need to look first and then ask: Do I need to make the change to survive what ever that situation may be.

What is Networking and how to do it correctly

Networking, whether through business associations or other means, is the most best way and cost effective way for small and home businesses to attract new clients. Networking is a powerful word and if you learn how to do it correctly then you are on your way to success.

Select a few  organizations. Go to meetings as often as possible and work on one or two committees. Your goal: to be the person that people come to you for ideas and solutions.

 One has to always keep an open mind and always learning something new to continue the process of mind growth and mind expansion. When we learn something new our minds expand and grow with knowledge and fill sour heart with the desire to keep on learning.

Business,Leadership And Emotional Intelligence--SantiniSelf Development Enterprises

Good afternoon today my friends. I was not feeling to well and well it was not easy trying to write early this morning but here I am writing to you and for you some pretty clear stuff and hopefully you can comment on it YAY!!! First I will start with some wisdom from one of my favorite mentors:








The world pins no medals on you because of what you know, but it may crown you with glory and riches for what you do.

Knowledge is an important component of success in any field. To accomplish anything worthwhile often requires years of study. But knowledge alone is not power; it becomes powerful only when it is applied through positive action.

 Study after study of successful people reveals that they have a bias for action. They gather the appropriate facts, relate them to their knowledge about the subject, develop an implementation plan, and then get into action. When in doubt, it’s far better to act too soon rather than too late. 

I must agree with with what is mentioned above because it is so true in regards to knowledge

While doing my radio on segments on small business and how to compete with the larger companies gave me a sense of not just helping small business but helping a large amount of different types of businesses and of course I love getting the call with so many questions.


There is one other thing which I believe to be so true in any organization and that is capacity training. There should always be some training with value for the employee where they can actually use and implement not only at work but in their private lives. 

 TO YOU MY READERS TELL ME BY SENDING ME COMMENTS WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN YOUR BUSINESS AND I WILL ANSWER THE  MOST DIFFICULT ONES.

When one tries to manage to different organization and try to build capacity for both at the same time well here is what happens;

 While many talk about or play at collaboration, there are a few that have made it. Collaboration to expand its own capacity—along with the capacity of its partners plays a big part because both must agree on the end result which can be from better servicing the clients that come in the door or serving each other better within the organization.

 Collaboration; relationships include sharing staff and back office services, doing joint promotion programs that provide better service and a better understanding and creating a new cultural.  What about value? 

One must create value to recognizes that each employee has its own unique set of values and we need to manage in such a way that we create value for each individual without destroying value to another individual because they have a different culture.

I have found when I do training and coaching with small businesses that they tend to know everything and hey! they should know it all after all it is their business and who understands it better they do.


Well not exactly- you see when an owner gets or become bogged down with daily routines and afraid to turn the reigns over to someone else they get stuck in just that a daily routine and forgetting about things that are important not just to his employees but his clients and that is listening to both sides. When you listen to bot sides you learn things you would have never heard or perhaps not realized were happening right under your nose!!.

The Voice
Hello and good morning. Well it is morning as I am writing this post. Today I am going to talk a little about that self talk you hear in the back of your mind and keeps you from moving forward and then we will talk a little about business as well.

I call it the voice; it is the voice you hear when you want to accomplish a goal or a project you have never done before. That voice starts to kick in and it begins like this; What are you doing? You cannot do this, you have no skills for this project!!

What are you thinking? So what is happening here, well let us see; It is called self doubt. The voice begins by giving you the feeling of self doubt. You start doubting your ability to do this new project or keep you from accomplishing the goals you are so hard trying to reach.

Ways to get rid of the voice:
1) Replace the voice with a song and sing when the voice begins.
2) Start a puzzle to keep the mind occupied
3) Play with your dog
4) Watch your favorite video
5) Tell a joke and start laughing

As trivial as these examples are they work. try it and let me know.

Today I would like to talk about capacity training and the importance of it. Many companies will say they have it in place but they do not. Many companies will say they do it all the time and they do not and the worst part of it is they they have no idea what it is  and if they know what it is they have no idea how to implement it.

So what is capacity training. capacity training is
Capacity building is the blood of growth, now more than ever. Read this section to learn more about what capacity building can accomplish for your company.
There is a startling lack of awareness about what capacity building is, especially when our society depends so heavily on the service to bring value that you or your company is offering.

Capacity building is whatever is needed to bring a company to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, in order to more effectively and efficiently fulfill its mission. Management must have a need to understand the logic behind this critical thinking process and start to implement it as soon as possible if the company needs to grow or in the process of learning new ideas to having staff members understand and believe the mission statement and the vision of the company.

Luciano (The Key) Santini (Your Solutions Provider) Change The Way You Think


Good morning my friends and here is a question for you.

What does it take to open up your mind to a world of opportunity and to be able to see the world in a whole new way or perspective?

I have pondered on this question for a while now. It has been a while since I have blogged and to be honest with you it was because I had been really thinking about what this world has to offer to all of us if we really choose to live our dreams the way we should but never really understand. 

It has been true that many have stated myself included to simply just go after your dreams and yes that still stands to be true.

You see though now we need to take action and many times we think we are taking action but in reality we are still waiting for the perfect time to act on our dreams and well we are going to talk about doing and not just thinking. 

You see in our minds we believe that we are always doing the right thing to move our lives ahead but yet we go no where:Why is that? That is a great question do you not think so?



A question and followed up with another question and that is because we all go in circles asking ourselves the same question over and over which is WHY this and WHY that. The answer is simple that we never take action and we need to do is simply follow our dreams and really make a plan to take action that is it that is the secret.

In business and I find this to be really distrubing because most owners really believe that there is no one else that can do what they do as well as they do it and well it annoys the hell out of me because when someone believes that they are the only one; What happens? Well you know (You Loose) All businesses start well level off and then die off or close doors not because they had no business but because owners believe that they are the only ones that can do the job right.

In all reality one has to be able to see that sometimes we need help or guideance in the right direction and that is where a coach comes in either for individual training or staff and entire company training. 

When we aren't getting results, it's easy to find excuses. The problem is that everyone can justify their behavior (or lack thereof), but until we take responsibility for our results, we will not move ahead.

Luciano (The Key) Santini on Life And Business

Good morning to all my friends and well it might be afternoon in some places around the world.


WOW!!!! I remember the post I did when we went into 2012 and now here is December the end of 2012. I ask myself questions like: What Have I done this year? Where is my Life this year? What have I accomplished this year? Where is my business this year? The most important question is: How am I going to end this yaer to prepare me for 2013.

The way we live our lives has changed dramatically and you know what I am talking about because the world is always turning this way and that way and sometimes we get caught up in the drama and we do not follow through on our dreams do we?

I find that both in life and business that this is a fact of reality. There are many questions that you need to ask yourself in silence and aswer them to yourself and yourself only. 

Many people have asked me why should they ask themselves such questions and I answer them like this: You need to answer these questions such as these because if you are going to lie to yourself then what do you Have to look forward to!!


In this video I read a poem I wrote on wasting time. enjoy it and perhaps you will have a better perspectiive on time. You see time is not a thing to take for granted because once that time is gone it is gone and you can never get it back. So it is essential that we take care of our time we are given on this earth to make the best of it whether in business or personal life.

BUSINESS 
Business well it is different because in business it is about making a profit and there is nothing wrong with that at all. The problem that I have found mostly when I train businesses on customer service or management skills or communication and organizational skills I find that they are not focused on their lives. 

There is so much turmoil within an organization because no one ever wants to be on a team and they may tell you to your face that they in fact do but the reality is that they are doing nothing more the having a conversation with you the owners.

If you want to have a great customer based staff you need to really understand human nature and figure out what they want and give it to them. What!!! do you mean Luciano? Well first of all you need have an understanding of what it is to be a human and what we all want which is a sense of security. 


The owners of a business cares about the bottom line and you should but at the same time how are you aquiring that botton line is what is really going to matter at the end.


Lets take a look at a few strategies that you can use to get you there:
 First of all have a  well rounded idea of your business and your need for training staff. I have to tell you that employee training and giving them proper support and not half training will get you the results you are looking for. 

I realize that it is a cost but sometimes we need to get over it and do it.Training is the first thing that suffers but will always remain a crtical element of your business.
 When a company's good intentions are to keep costs down and cut back on training it will undermine the company's to remain on top of the game of competition.

I know that sometimes small businesses fall short here however they need to see the future a bit and understand where they are in their training. As an owner I understand costs but when it all comes down sometimes you need that face to face coach or trainer to come in and show you hands on how to achieve your business goals.
