Live A Life Of Fascination And Purpose

Good morning my friends and how are you doing this beautiful Saturday. Today we are going to talk about what it takes to reach your goals and what you need to look at them from a real perspective.

Reaching goals is not about just talking about them as of matter of fact the more you talk about them the less energy they will carry. What you have to do is stop talking and take action instead. What do I mean well my friends it is all in the mind and what your perspective of your goals. 

How important are they to you? What exactly do these goals mean to you as the individual? How are you going to approach these goals? 

These are questions that we all have every day in our minds the problem is that we just never take the time to really think about the questions above.


Take a look at this video so you can get some ideas on achieving your goals. You need to deeply desire the goal or resolution. Napoleon Hill, in his landmark book, Think and grow rich had it right. "The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat." So, your first
  • step in goal setting and achieving your dreams is that you've got to really, really want to achieve the goal. I always say to everyone in all my seminars "Nothing Will Happen Unless You Take That First Step" Luciano The Key Santini

  • Visualize yourself achieving the goal. Lee Iacocca said, "The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind." What will your achievement feel like? How will your life unfold differently as a result? If the goal is a thing, some gurus of goal setting recommend that you keep a picture of the item where you see and are reminded of it every day. If you can’t picture yourself achieving the goal, chances are – you won’t.

BUSINESS

Here we are my friends on another day of thinking. I always think about each and every day and how am I going to change my future. You see my friends we have to get out there and make some changes every day. How do I think? What do I know? How do I process my ideas? You see what do we do and how do we believe these questions to make a difference in our lives.

 We need to evaluate each one of these questions as an individual and then take a real good look at our answers and then move forward.



We all have to give something for something else that is just how life works though most of us do not see or understand that concept. I will give you an example if you decide to make a great living from speaking the you have to take the time read lots and lots of books and create some new ideas from the reading to make better and new ideas. What about the purpose for new ideas?

We make new ideas with purpose but with a new purpose we have to decide a new life and live differently than before. We have to live well and bring a new awareness to our new life and be prepared to take a whole new look on the road to where are we headed.



Think about a philosophy you believe in and live it. Be prepared for a live of vitality. Time comes and then disappears forever because that is one thing that you will never ever be able to get or buy back. The point here is to believe in who you are and then more time learning new things and believing that whatever goals you may have will be accomplishment never ever stop learning.

I will close with this; Prepare the good questions for yourself and make sure that you have a good understanding of each question that you ask yourself and then be real careful on the answers but that will make the big difference on your daily life. Live a life of purpose. You see I live of life of fascination is clearly different then just a living life.

If you have no idea what you want to achieve what do you think you will achieve--Luciano Santini

Good morning my friends and clients. This has been a great week. I have done some great speaking events that has given me the opportunity to create some great relationships.


 “The greatest thing about being in the speaking business is that it’s not over until you die”

This was a motivation speech on how to motivate your employees for the Economic Advisory Council in Santa Maria California. It was great turn out and the questions were awesome straight from business owners both small and large. To have such an array of people from different businesses and asking some questions that I had not ever thought of was an awesome experience and yes I am very grateful for giving me the opportunity to learn from them all.


If you don’t know what you want from life, what do you think you will get?
The great majority of people in the world drift through life, never realizing that their future will be the one they create for themselves. The minority who achieve great success are people who know what they want and have a plan for realizing their objectives. They know what they want and how they are going to get it. 

Your goals should be specific, they should be measurable, they should have a deadline for their achievement, and they should be divided into manageable pieces. Know exactly what you plan to achieve, when you plan to achieve it, and how. Review your progress regularly, correct your course when necessary, and never, ever give up. 

I spoke a bit about how to turn your dreams in to reality and how to bring them into your individual world so that you can begin to create them in front of your eyes. People still have to learn how to do just that. We as individuals believe we know it all. I find that when I challenge someone either in my personal life whether one of my children a friend or a perfect stranger I find that we believe we have it all figured out and guess what the world will figure us out before we figure the world out!!.


The great thing about understanding human behavior is that we are not all the same. We have different values some better than other and we do not come from the same cultures and we have different ideas of the world and what it should be.  As human beings we are strange and weird. people always tell me that I am somewhat weird and I sat WHAT!!! me no way and then I listen to my speeches and think to myself where in the world did that come from! I guess I am weird ha ha ha.

Let us talk about business. In business yes it is very important to keep your employees happy and create a culture they not only want to work in but want help create themselves and continue to create. Many owners believe that everyone they hire is a great hire WHEW!! I wish that was the case but the truth we make mistakes don't we and the answer is of course we make them all the time.

Normally I do not like to say these things but today I believe we all need to hear it. The fact is, no one can do more than one thing at a time. Multi-tasking is a bunch of B.S. You can either choose to accept this or you can forever put yourself at the mercy of that "feeling" that tells you you should be getting MORE done at any one moment than you are. 

We have to understand this because if we do not we will end up in a mess. Learn to do one thing at a time but do it right so that you do not have to go back and re-do it again. If you have to go back again guess what you have been wasting your time HELLO.

Have you ever noticed how a person reacts to something that happens and comes out of nowhere? How do they react to the action or situation. Believe me I know what that feels like but I stay calm and collected and think before I react. I have seen many people loose it in different types of situations and I have to say that most of them have been pretty ugly, I guess the point that I am trying to make here is that when something pops up and puts you in an awkward position stay calm and collected and think before you react.

Today we will start with a big HELLO to all my friends and clients who continue to support and believe in what I do. Thank you Thank you . Today we will talk a bit about Networking and what it can do for you as a businessman and as an individual. I always let people know and clients that sometimes we need to get out of where we have been for so long in order for any kind of change to take place.

Change is good though so many will resist,but guess what we should know that going into any new venture or when we present any kind of new idea or process that is human nature. How many times have we me included walked into a situation and said  ( What The Hell) is this common be honest!! now!! because I know we all have done it and perhaps said it out loud like I did. What now I have to change my routine and this new manager is coming in like he knows it all mmmm no way this is not happening.


Inspiration sometimes will change the mind of a person simply by looking at what is and at what is not. You see what is is what is at the moment and it is not going to change unless you change your attitude and your perspective on what ever the change is. I say inspiration because I know that at times I have had to find that what inspires me to keep moving forward though I did not want to do so.

I have a friend who was almost separated from his wife and children and he called me and said what do I do and I asked what have you tried and he said everything and I said OK lets take it step by step my friend.

I asked him what inspires you? He said my children. I then went on to help him see things from a different perspective and to make the changes in order to have his family back. He was resisting change and sometimes when we resist change it can cause our most close relationships to go to @#$%^%^& HE#$%LL.

To say that the change took place and now he is happy with his family and living in a bigger house better job and him and his wife could not be any happier YAY!!! Change sometimes needs to take place in order to survive in both business and life.

The key is in your mind at all times. This is the place where we need to look first and then ask: Do I need to make the change to survive what ever that situation may be.

What is Networking and how to do it correctly

Networking, whether through business associations or other means, is the most best way and cost effective way for small and home businesses to attract new clients. Networking is a powerful word and if you learn how to do it correctly then you are on your way to success.

Select a few  organizations. Go to meetings as often as possible and work on one or two committees. Your goal: to be the person that people come to you for ideas and solutions.

 One has to always keep an open mind and always learning something new to continue the process of mind growth and mind expansion. When we learn something new our minds expand and grow with knowledge and fill sour heart with the desire to keep on learning.

It Takes Courage And Self Awareness To Be A Great Leader-Santini-Self Development Enterprises

Good morning everyone and how are we doing this beautiful morning. This past week was something that well made me realize why people are people and why they act and react to certain situations. 

You see sometimes change has to take place in life in your personal life or in your business change just has to take place in order for your life or your business or even an entire organization to survive.


Does your organization respond to change well or do they resist to creating a competitive environment, and workforce? 

 This is a question that really needs to be looked into in a different perspective then a normal look. I know that in the private industry is so much different then in the non-profit world. I find that management is different as well. In the non-profit you have to deal with the people that think they are untouchable due to the bureaucracy that come with a government job.


What about the leadership capacity? Does your organization have what it takes to move forward into the future?

This is another section organizations in both private and non-profit need to think about. I believe that sometimes there comes a time when someone will need to open their mouth and say HEY!!!! stop and take a look at our leaders they are no leaders they only tell people what to do and manage from their position status and not as true leaders.


Bottom line is that the bottom line is affected first and then the staff members and ultimately the doors close. What do you need to make the changes well you need to find someone that thinks outside the box outside the norm someone who knows change and has the know -how to implement the changes that need to take place.


You must remember the first thing about human nature: 

People automatically have resistance built in not to change. You as a manager or a leader must have the skills to change their perspective on  resistance before they can have an understanding of the need to adapt to new changes


Don’t ever admit that the world has not given you an opportunity.
Opportunities are never just handed to you; they must be created. Opportunities abound for every individual in every walk of life. They may not be the opportunities that you prefer, but each opportunity of which you take advantage leads to bigger and better opportunities. 

 Physical and mental handicaps may mean that you have to explore territories unknown to others, but they also mean you have opportunities those others will never find. Think of Stephen Hawking’s brilliant research on the nature of the universe despite the fact that a crippling disease makes writing and speaking, as we know it, impossible for him. Those who approach their jobs and careers with enthusiasm always find plenty of opportunities, while those who complain about no one ever giving them a chance are merely observers of life. 

When you are determined that you will not allow others to determine your future for you, when you refuse to allow temporary setbacks to defeat you, you are destined for great success. The opportunities will always be there for you. If there are adversities that you cannot overcome right now, remember to capitalize upon them at a later date by looking for the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.

You know by now how important it is to offer service freely to your community without expecting anything specific in return. You know as well how important the intangible personal benefits of self-respect and inspiration that accompany such action are. But it is also true that by rendering a public service you have an effect on the values in your community.


Remember it takes someone who has the knowledge on what courage means and what fear means and the meaning behind it, but being a leader you have to face it in spite of the confusion that comes with any situation.

Luciano ( The Key) Santini Reads ' Wasted Time Poem"


 Hello my friends and here we are again on a beautiful Saturday morning. I would like to dedicate this poem I wrote a while back to everyone who thinks they do not waste time. We all do it we just do not realize it. Take this poem and let me know what your thoughts are after you listen to it. 

 Every thought you release becomes a permanent part of your character.

Thoughts are things. Every thought you release — good or bad — is a form of energy that can affect those who receive it, for better or worse. More important, your thoughts affect you. You become what you think about most. If you think about success, you condition your mind to seek success, and you attract large portions of it. 

Conversely, if you think about failure and despair, you will become miserable and desperate. To keep your mind on a positive track, the moment you begin to experience creeping negativism, make a conscious decision to eliminate negative thoughts and replace them with their positive counterparts.



I believe that we waste our time and energy on things that we should be aware of and should take a really close look at where we are sending this energy. In life we get caught up on our daily routines and sometimes we loose time and have no idea where it was wasted.


Establishing a clear system for communicating with the boss.
 I have never understood when someone has anything that is vital to a person or an organization and is communicated through an email. I have always trained managers and staff members that if it is a crucial issue that needs to be discussed it must be done either directly over the phone or in person but never on an email.

It is a waste of time and many times over I have seen it where the issue would be brought up again and again in a meeting.


I have one very important question for you my friends. Are you one that counts the minutes of each hour to make sure that you never waste time? I have always trained people to take action and create a sense of urgency all day when action items come their way get them done and over with.


If you would only realize that procrastination has another name
The thief of productivity) you will see the importance of not wasting time.Once you understand this concept you will see that you will accomplish personal goals and you will also get all your work done.

Accountability= Failure is a Success Only If You Learn From It-Santini Self Development Enterprises-Luciano Santini

Good morning to all my friends who read and follow my blog postings. Today I want to talk about a touchy subject called accountability. Now let us be honest first of all because sometimes we believe in our minds that we are always accountable for our own actions and the truth of the matter is that yes we think we are but are we becomes the real question.

I have found that when someone brings up a topic that few people either do not want to talk about or have issues admitting to themselves that perhaps they are not perfect and the other that they do not know everything could and does become a real problem for any individual that really believes that.

What is accountability and what does it mean to each of us?

Accountability is:
Accountability means taking responsibility of one's activity. In public service, the idea of accountability is that the performance of institutions, groups and individuals be judged according to some measurable criteria.
  First, no one has a clear, consistent definition of accountability. Many talk a good game, but few actually know what it means. My second thought is that most often the call for more accountability is really an unspoken desire for more consequences (i.e., reward for achievement and punishment for failure). 

Lets talk about what and how it will affect you as an part of staff or as the manager of operations. I love this article by a friend of a friend of mine who wrote this a while back and I remember clearly when it was first published and thought wow this a real clear definition and broken down to what it means to be accountable.

One needs to understand what this means and how to apply the structure in any organization or any team. If the team does not understand what it means and understand the end result then for sure the team will fail however if the manager or the leader of the team it for that matter any team the project will fail.

People ask me all the time so what is it exactly what you do Luciano?
My short answer is I provide solutions to your problems and if i do not have it then I will find someone who does but I will always find the solution to your problem or issues you as a person or your business is facing that is what I do in a nutshell my friends.

What is Accountability?
When shame-faced politicians, greedy bankers or celebrity executives say “I take complete accountability for my actions” at their mea culpa, please-forgive-me press conferences, we generally accept these types of statements as apologies (even when paired with “voluntary” resignations). Is this how someone is held accountable? Accountability is more than a phrase that is part of a scripted apology.
 Accountability quite literally is the ability to account for one’s actions.

So now that the high-level definition is out of the way, let’s fully define and lay out the true meaning of the term, starting with what needs to be in place for accountability to exist:

1. Clear Goals Must Be Established: Quantifiable project objectives should be defined, documented and communicated

2. Adequate Resources and Authority Must Be Granted: Sufficient resources (e.g., financial, technical and human), control and influence must be made available.

3. Specific Consequences Must Be Predetermined: Outcomes for success and failure are established, documented and communicated.
If any of the above are not satisfied the employee is well within his or her rights to question the assignment and address the gaps before proceeding. We realize this is a strong statement, but perfectly legitimate if he or she is to be accountable.

Let’s explore one in a little more detail.
Establishing Clear Goals
Ambiguity regarding desired outcomes for a given project must be eliminated and great care taken to ensure that all involved share the same definition of success. It does not matter who the leader is, projects that begin without a clear, shared picture of the end goal(s) are doomed to failure. Project goals should be Relevant, Realistic and Reportable.
  • Relevant – goals are aligned with overarching business objectives
  • Realistic – attainable given the known constraints
  • Reportable – performance against the key success metric(s) can be objectively quantified and communicated.
 The employee may physically complete the work, but if the manager controls the decisions/resources, the manager is still the one accountable. When such projects fail, the manager is at fault not the direct report. Or stated more eloquently, when the manager is pulling the strings, he can’t blame the puppet for bad performance.


As A Manager…
As a reminder, setting the expectation and granting the authority are keys to establishing accountability. We would like to place emphasis on the final key – consequences. One of the toughest things a manager has to do is address failure. There is no easy way around this issue – to establish accountability, the manager must meet this challenge head-on. Put clear, meaningful consequences in place, and by all means follow through.


As a Direct Report…
Before accepting a task, look at the accountability structure. If you are not aware of the expectation, do not have the proper authority to act and do not know what the consequences will be at the end of the day, you may find yourself in a bad situation. 

Build a case for getting clarification of goals, assignment of resources and the authority to act and make sure you know the consequences. Finally, be prepared to accept the consequences if you do fail. Do it gracefully. Own up to your behavior and learn from it. That is accountability.

On The brighter side of life let us talk about positivity. We all want to be positive but sometimes life just throws some curve balls at us and we find ourselves stuck in time if you will because we have no idea what to do but break down and sob--boo hoo boo hoo.

Well friends boo hooing is nothing more then an excuse to our behaviour. What do you mean Luciano!!! well friends it is simple when we are around those that are negative move away from them!!!! and find those who think like you do positivity is like a virus once it gets going you cannot stop it and the same goes with once you surround yourself with negativity it becomes very difficult to stop it as well.

Things to remember my friends keep an open mind;
Stay around those who carry a positive attitude.
Find things that gives you or puts a smile on your face.
Go outside tomorrow early before the sun rises and watch it rise.

Good morning everyone out there and how is the weather in your area.? Please take time to sit and pray for Oklahoma. It has been devastated by tornadoes and so much destruction all around. Sometime we face obstacle that just make our lives chaotic and sometime destroys who we are as people. Sometimes the pain just is too much to handle and we loose our selves in destruction.


We loose our loved ones which can be the worst loss of all believe me I know I have lost people n my life that meant the world to me and yes I too was at a point where there nothing else to do but either make it in life or loose life as a whole. 

We can all choose to make it regardless of the hardships and destruction that comes our ways we can make it YES we can!! my friends we can!!

Now my thinking from Napoleon Hill:



 Nature yields her most profound secrets to those who are determined to uncover them.

The field of science is perhaps the best illustration of how success always seems to come to those who apply the principle of accurate thinking in a persistent, determined effort. America’s great inventor Thomas A. Edison is said to have failed 10,000 times in his attempt to develop a workable electric light bulb. He learned from each failure and refused to quit until he succeeded. 

Breakthroughs occur every day because a determined person continues to search for solutions to complex problems long after everyone else has given up and gone home. You may not invent the light bulb or the next supercomputer, but you can find creative solutions to old problems if you apply the proven principles of success consistently and persistently.

We learn from our failures and also from our success or better said we should and most fail in this area because once they have a taste of success they feel they have reached the ultimate goal and guess what they have just had a taste of success and not total success--Not Total Success- I want you to really think about that and what does this mean to you and to your business.

As a business coach once in a while I will meet someone who not really has a need for my services: They either have or are working with a business coach and are successful so what i do is this: I ask if they have any situation or issue they may be facing and and I say (What if I gave you a four hour workshop for free to fix your issue. Their mouth drops because they ask me so what is the catch and I say no catch just the opportunity to serve you and your needs that's all.


What just happened is the following- I just made a new client and word of mouth will spread and clients will call who have done business with this person and voila your business reputation begins to grow. Please understand that it sounds easy but in reality it is lots of work so be prepared for that and give your best though it is free.

People are always asking me questions and one of my favorite is hey Luciano would you mind if I ask you a question and I say of course you may ask me any question as long as you do mind the answer we will be good so shoot. 

I get a look of what does that mean to me? I just laugh and continue listening and of course most of the time people in general do not like to hear the truth and yet we need to hear the truth because if we do not hear it soon we will continue lying to ourselves and that is not good not good at all.

One of the best way to inform people of negatives and or positives in their lives is by communication of which is an art in itself. Communication is one of those things that we do everyday now whether we do it right is a whole other question we need to look at.

We need to understand that the world is constantly changing and there are so many ways to communicate and we as business people or just simply put we need to find the correct ways to communicate wit h each other. Once you have that skill or the art as I like to put you will be so much better off and you will find that your life can change. 

You will learn to understated people better and they will stop asking so many questions because you would have made communication easier to understand. These skills will take time so do not think of giving up on yourself so easily it will come as long as you practice daily.

All Over The Place Blog But Fun -Santini Self Development Enterprises-Luciano The Key Santini

Good afternoon everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Today was a changing day in my life. I saw my baby girl graduate from college with her B. A. in Business and Science and well I stared at her and though about the day she came home from the hospital and I was able to hold her in one arm and now look at her. she is a beautiful woman now and I was just like wow I have a grown up woman as my daughter.


As she walked across to receive her Degree I remember the day she graduated from first grade and I was so proud of her and each year after that she made me proud and now I was really proud of my baby girl. The years have gone by so quickly and yes I do realize time however time will slip away on a daily basis if we do not take the time to be aware of it.


The definition of time management:

Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals complying with a due date. This set encompasses a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing.

 Initially, time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities as well. A time management system is a designed combination of processes, tools, techniques, and methods. Usually time management is a necessity in any project development as it determines the project completion time and scope.



 Concentration

You cannot succeed in life by scattering your forces and trying to do a dozen things at the same time.

The major themes arising from the literature on time management include the following:
  • Creating an environment conducive to effectiveness
  • Setting of priorities
  • Carrying out activity around those priorities
  • The related process of reduction of time spent on non-priorities
Business and time management wow this  is a hit and miss for most managers and corporations because they simply do not understand time management or know how to train their staff how to time management and how it works.

Do you need a business coach that can do this for you and assist you with techniques that work of course you do and do not pretend you know how to do it already because Franky mt friends you need to be honest with yourself first and the your coach whether it is me or not be fair to us coaches. I say the latter because sometimes business owners believe that we are miracle workers and we are not!!! We will come in and teach you well some of us will teach you what you need to learn from a different point of perspective then what you the business owner have been seeing things from hello!!.

Sometimes we believe we know all there is about management and training our staff and how we converse and convey information to either our staff or more importantly our customers.

I love this techniques because most manager believe that they need a response to every dam email they send out immediately and when they do receive it well they get pissed off and the people then they get to sending more emails on why they have not responded and i laugh because I get them as well LOL.

First, this one rule could change your ability to manage your time more than anything else, which is why it's first: If you are a slave to your email responding,and particularly if your pc is set up to notify you immediately upon the receipt of any incoming email, then I urge you to make this simple change - it will dramatically improve your control over your time. 

Turn off the pop-up or noise which notifies you that you have mail. For many people this the single biggest obstacle to successful time management. Establish a new habit of checking your email at certain times in the day, when it is sensible for you and the business to do so - say, first when you arrive at your desk or start work, second just before lunch, third around an hour before normal business closes.

I urge you all so called bosses out there to read this over and over;
People are a fundamental component within any successfully developing organization. Take away the people and the organization is nothing. Take away the people's motivation, commitment and ability to work together in well-organized teams, and again, the organization is nothing. 

Conversely, inspire the people to work well, creatively, productively, and the organization can fly. Logically therefore, the development and proper utilization of people are vital to the success of all quality management initiatives. 


How to make a change that would change the way a business does a process better then before:

 Many work processes are developed  and stay that way for many many years and never change and thus become the standard on how to do that process and find out down the line that in order to progress and move with the changes processes need to change to benefit the organization.

This can be very challenging for the new innovative manager because the old timers will resist and they will make life difficult.
