Good morning my friends. Today starts a short vacation and when I mean short I mean short because I am not really going anywhere but plan out 2014. We have to plan out our days and our future. There will be times that we will just get sick of and tired of doing the same thing over and over and you just need to make a change.

This year my plans are as follows. I will write two books one journal to help you reach your goals through my experiences and others experiences and the other will be a hot short novel about a ???????? that I cannot tell you just yet. I can only tell you that it will be a great novel one for the ages a classic or perhaps it will have a cult following who knows!.

As a businessman I can tell you that if you stop learning and reaching out to folks in your community and your industry well you will not be around for very long. .

I find that many times there are so many little issues that will grow into big issues simply because someone did not follow through or there was a mix up in communication or simply confusion on he said she said scenarios. I want you to always remember one very important thing and that is (You can always make a new start in whatever you want)

There always remains an opportunity to make a new start.
Though it may not seem so when you first encounter a serious blow, you can never lose two of the most important assets you have. These are the power of your mind and your freedom to use it. Once you have turned them to understanding what laid you low, you can begin forming new plans. You may not have the money you once had; you may lack the allies you had cultivated. But you still have the benefit of a universe that eventually rewards honest effort, as well as gaining the experience of mistakes you will never make again. Remember, no matter where you are now, whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve. 

One must always remember that we can make a new start at any point in our lives if we so choose to do so. Sometimes we run into issues or concerns that perhaps are to great for us and we may feel beaten up. There is always a way out whether it is through a gathering of friends and talk about it or simply have someone listen to you regarding the change that you would like to make. Change is a good thing sometimes that is all we need a small change in our lives

Communication is a very important component of life and to show my point I will share this quote with you which happens to be one of my favorites.

Robert McCloskey — 'I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.'

I want you to really think about this quote and what it means to you as an individual.

Communication is such a big part of business as well. Think about you  and your business if you have one and if not think about how communication has affected your life either at work or in your personal life.

Will you be able to make the changes in your life for 2014? What is your strategic plan to make it happen? What are you going to do to make sure it goes smooth?

 These questions are or can be real eye openers for someone who does not understand the issues when they come their way. Some issues can be overwhelming but one has to be able to fight through them and see the light at the end of the tunnel.Great success comes to those who have a plan and work it!!!!

Do you know and understand you? If you don't neither does anyone else..

Hello everyone out there somewhere in the world. As always I want to say thank you to all my clients and connections here on this rock we call earth. You know I was thinking this morning about what it takes to be successful and to  be honest it takes lots and lots of hard work perseverance and lots and lots of knowledge.

Be aware that when I say knowledge I do not mean book or school I simply mean understanding what you want and where do you want to be and what do you want to accomplish. The know how needs to be about you the individual. Do you know and understand you? This is a very important questions because if you do not know who you are then guess what!! No one else does either.

This becomes like having a well written resume when you are looking for that job that you want to land. There will be questions about you asked during the interview and guess what if you do not know what you have written on your resume because someone else wrote it for you then you will fail in answering any questions.

Think about life!-life is the same way if you do not know or have any idea of what you want and where you want to go then you will fail because you are simply existing. My friends some people think that because they have lots of money they are happy and they may be and they may have a real handle on life and those that do I can tell you from being around many that have lots and lots of money are very well versed in life's experiences.

Those that have lots of money but struggle with every day situations believe that money can fix it all and these are the ones that will fail once again because somewhere along their success they failed at learning the lessons that life has taught them along the way. What!!  WHAT!! of course we all do that at one time or another where we become successful and start to believe that money can fix it all or because the power that we acquire and not from money but from a high ranking position one might hold.

All these beliefs become a problem after a while because people loose their way and end up alone.

The mind grows only through use, and it atrophies through idleness.

Just as the physical body becomes strong through regular exercise, so does the mind require regular use to remain strong. Make sure that your personal development plan includes plenty of mental stimulation. One of the best ways to develop your imagination and visualization skills is through reading. 

As you read, your mind translates the words into images that help you better understand the concepts about which you are reading. Become a voracious reader. Read newspapers, trade magazines, self-help books, and novels; all will contribute to your store of knowledge and to your ability to visualize and more effectively use your imagination. 

I have found through out my life that our imagination is perhaps the most powerful tool that we have been given.Imagination can create and it can also destroy lives. Think about this for a while let sit in your mind and just ponder on this thought and write me your comments on your thoughts.

 I know that everyone in this world at one point or another we feel stuck and this is an awful place to be because you feel dis empowered and beat up because we listen to our past failures and thus making us live our lives in constant fear thus continue to fail in all that we try to do.  You will have to look outside of yourself and find that strength you need from within this will strengthen your being.

Live A Life Of Fascination And Purpose

Good morning my friends and how are you doing this beautiful Saturday. Today we are going to talk about what it takes to reach your goals and what you need to look at them from a real perspective.

Reaching goals is not about just talking about them as of matter of fact the more you talk about them the less energy they will carry. What you have to do is stop talking and take action instead. What do I mean well my friends it is all in the mind and what your perspective of your goals. 

How important are they to you? What exactly do these goals mean to you as the individual? How are you going to approach these goals? 

These are questions that we all have every day in our minds the problem is that we just never take the time to really think about the questions above.

Take a look at this video so you can get some ideas on achieving your goals. You need to deeply desire the goal or resolution. Napoleon Hill, in his landmark book, Think and grow rich had it right. "The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat." So, your first

• Visualize yourself achieving the goal. Lee Iacocca said, "The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind." What will your achievement feel like? How will your life unfold differently as a result? If the goal is a thing, some gurus of goal setting recommend that you keep a picture of the item where you see and are reminded of it every day. If you can’t picture yourself achieving the goal, chances are – you won’t.

BUSINESS

Here we are my friends on another day of thinking. I always think about each and every day and how am I going to change my future. You see my friends we have to get out there and make some changes every day. How do I think? What do I know? How do I process my ideas? You see what do we do and how do we believe these questions to make a difference in our lives.

 We need to evaluate each one of these questions as an individual and then take a real good look at our answers and then move forward.

We all have to give something for something else that is just how life works though most of us do not see or understand that concept. I will give you an example if you decide to make a great living from speaking the you have to take the time read lots and lots of books and create some new ideas from the reading to make better and new ideas. What about the purpose for new ideas?

We make new ideas with purpose but with a new purpose we have to decide a new life and live differently than before. We have to live well and bring a new awareness to our new life and be prepared to take a whole new look on the road to where are we headed.

Think about a philosophy you believe in and live it. Be prepared for a live of vitality. Time comes and then disappears forever because that is one thing that you will never ever be able to get or buy back. The point here is to believe in who you are and then more time learning new things and believing that whatever goals you may have will be accomplishment never ever stop learning.

I will close with this; Prepare the good questions for yourself and make sure that you have a good understanding of each question that you ask yourself and then be real careful on the answers but that will make the big difference on your daily life. Live a life of purpose. You see I live of life of fascination is clearly different then just a living life.

Good morning my friends and yes today is a rainy Saturday in my area as I am sure it is many others and pretty cold as I know it is other areas. I want to thank you for reading my blog posts. I know that sometimes I go a different way other than business but life is that way you do not always have the right words to say anything right! You now I am right  why because it is true.

Today I am going to focus on all business because today is a great day to talk about it. What is business and what does it take to create a great and successful one at that? My friends this question is asked everyday by many both large and small business. I believe that in order to have a great and successful business you have to not only know your population but you have to know and understand your competition and that is where most if not all small businesses fail.

This is kind of when someone is looking for a job. You have to be able to know who you are as a person before you are able to land that dream job because if you do not know who you are then what re you going to say when they ask you. The other thing is you have to know who you are competing against. Many people will fail because though they may have the right skills but cannot convey them they will be passed over for someone else who can happens every time.

This world is a chaotic place to begin with without having to add to our pains that we humans suffer on a daily basis. You see my friends if you have a small or large business you must know your competition because if you do not study it then I assure you that you will fail miserably.

 The world stands aside and makes room for the person who knows where he is going and is on his way.

When you have a vision for what you wish to achieve in your life, not only will others stand aside and let you pass, but they will join you in your quest as well. They will instinctively recognize your enthusiasm and zest for living. When you speak of your passion in life, your definite major goal, they will see the intensity of your desire, and they will respond with encouragement and assistance or they will stand aside. It will be apparent to all who know you that you will succeed.

Read the above many times over and you will have a very clear understanding of what I mean by knowing and studying your competition because once you have a clear understanding of what your business is all about and who your audience or clientele are then you will know and so will everyone else know you know what you are doing and there will be no questions in regards to where you are going.

The most important thing to understand is that you are different but are you or is that what you think? If that is what you think then you are a business but you are also a commodity business meaning that you are always competing with others on price and you have become a part of a cookie cutter business model. I want to you to really think about this and if this who you are then you are headed towards a cliff and soon you will fall off and be GONE!!!

 If someone wants to hire Luciano Santini, they already know how to find me. The key point here, is that they don’t go looking for a top business coach or top motivational speaker or top trainer in business when they want to hire me. They don’t go to Google or Bing… they email me or call me.

There is a big difference.You see, although I get all the Luciano Santini coaching and resume writing inquiries, I get a small amount of inquiries from people using search engines, looking for a commodity solutions provider. If they just want a (any) good solutions provider, they have hundreds of thousands to choose from. Those providers then compete against one another as for me I am sure that it has happened in the past but I have learned not do that anymore.

Whatever comes to mind--Luciano Santini

Good morning and today sure is beautiful in the Santa Barbara area. Today is also small business day in our area so I might go spend some money today so lets all go out and help the small businesses explode!!. My friends today is also my sons 13th Birthday and well he makes me very proud smart and sometimes I forget he is only a kid. It feels as if it was just yesterday when I was sitting at the hospital waiting to hold him. Today's blog will not be about anything in particular in or on business just whatever comes to mind so enjoy.

Inspiration comes from any where if but look for it. I get inspiration from my kids everyday. It is them that keep me going like the energizer bunny. People always ask me you look so young and yet you are an old man and I am like what did you just say friend!! What!!.

It is my boys that keep me going strong and I am sure they will continue until I can go no more but until then I will enjoy every day with them. Life is a funny thing let me tell you.

There will be times when you laugh and there will be many times when you will cry.

They say men should not cry well let me just say that is not true at all. I cried each time one of my kids were born because it put life in a different perspective. I always wonder about life and how long will life carry me and where will I be when they get older. I ask myself many questions each time and each time I have a different answer.

There are so many secrets to life some are given each day and some you just have to search for. Life can bring happiness each and every day or can bring so much sadness either way you have to be ready to react on each one of them. The funny thing is that as a father/mother you have to make so many choices regarding your kids each and every day and sometimes we make the wrong ones, I know I have made some pretty bad ones including insurance choices which I had to change real quickly whew!!

In today's time there are so many people out there who need our help within our United States and yet so many people look outside of the USA to help kids and people which by the way I believe it is a great thing if you can afford to do it by all means more power to those that can and bless them. The point that I am simply trying to make is that we have such a need to help here in the USA. There are so many people in need everywhere. 

This Thanksgiving day last week was a special one for me for many reasons. I learned that the family where we get together at my wife's parents house and realized that the crowed that normally show up has dwindled down and I realized how thankful I am for my family.

 Everything you create or acquire begins in the form of desire.

In order to act, you must have a purpose. If you want to act successfully in all but the most mundane affairs, you must embrace that purpose with a burning desire. Many people think they want to be successful, but since they do not back that thought with an intense drive, they never achieve success. Cultivate your desire. Feed it with thoughts of yourself enjoying whatever it is you seek. It’s like stoking the furnace of a steam engine. You need to build up enough pressure to carry yourself over hills; if your desire doesn’t burn hotly enough, you’ll find yourself stalled and rolling backwards. The secret to action is a red-hot desire.

Thanksgiving and Reality-SSDE Luciano Santini

Hello my friends and here we are on  another beautiful Saturday morning. You know I was thinking what can you be thankful on this Thanksgiving week. Well for me there are many things such as thanking every single one of you who cares to read my blogging that I am sure at times does not make sense ha ha ha. I am sure. All joking set aside really think about what you are thankful for in your life. It could be your kids or your job or your husband/wife/girlfriend/lover whoever it may be.

In life there will always be challenges and obstacles before us however the question becomes; How do we deal with them? Leaders have ways of doing this. But first lets ask a question.Can we change? I like this quote:

I think that sometimes we are so afraid to make the changes that in in fact know we need to make so we can reach our goals and dreams but we are so afraid of change !! Why is that?

We can struggle with it every day but at the end guess what the truth will be staring at you again so why not just face it and deal with it now!

I love this saying which is well so true:

Baltasar Gracian, the insightful and pragmatic 17th century Jesuit priest, cautioned, "Truth is abhorred by the masses." Instead, they try to make true that which they love -- a self-delusive practice that virtually guarantees frustration and failure. 

When an individual is able to recognize the truth about life that individual will be able to be part of an elite group of people that does not chase lucid dreams but understands reality. I believe that when we do not face the truth we live in fantasies that perhaps we conjure up in our minds which in turn will create a false reality thus we will live in a fantasy world causing issues in dealing with real problems in our daily life.

 What about the consequences that come by lying to ourselves because we choose to live in fantasy land. My friends please understand though a consequence does not arrive immediately you will not be prepared when it does arrive so be conscientious of what you do whether bad or good there will always be a consequence.

 Remember for every action there will be a reaction sometime. The issue is that when we do something and believe it to be right when in fact it is the wrong thing to do the consequence will eventually arrive and sometimes it may take a while but when it does finally arrive you will not be prepared because it has been a while and then you get confused and start to ask yourself many questions such as:

Why me?

I do not deserve this? blah blah!!!!

I love reality and I try to live in a real world but yes I do slip into fantasies and I have to tell you that I have paid my dues for doing so and they have been costly whether in relationships or business or friendships been there.

Most people create the world they live in from a perspective of what the world is in their minds eye and not the way the real world is and here is where the problem is my friends. Live in a world that is real and not a fantasy because this will help you live a more balanced life.

We create these stories in our heads and we start to believe them to be true and yet they are nothing more than a fantasy but in our minds they are real and then we start to believe them to be true and this is where we rarely catch ourselves until it is to late and we are facing the consequences.
