Luciano Santini On Business and Life And Our Youth

Well hello my friends I almost forgot to blog MMMMM where is my mind lately. Well let just say that I have been really busy finishing up some translations and getting ready to do a bilingual seminar for the youth.

 I always look forward to doing these seminars because I really try to reach our youth, Many people are always saying how we are loosing our youth to the world and chaos of today and guess what!! I agree!!! Yes I do!!!

Meet my beautiful son he is eleven years old and yet he has a mind of an adult now do not get me wrong he is still a kid of course and he does all the things eleven year old kids do however he is an inspiration to me because sometimes out comes some things that I have only heard from adult conversations,now granted I take him to my meetings and seminars and he helps me out with all the computer set ups and projectors. 

He is good at it yes I taught him those things and yes he gets paid for doing a great job. I guess he is learning how to be responsible for what he does and for what he learns.

He does great in school top of his class but the amazing thing about him is that he questions life. Really think about that how many kids and adults ever questions life. This important because most people ever do and when you do not question life then that means that you are comfortable and thus for will never ever progress forward. 

He has asked me about life in general and he has asked me about the future and though I may not have the answer which I do not but what I do tell him is we may not know the future there are ways on how to prepare for it and not be left behind specially in technology.

Lets talk a little about business owners. When do you id you are one question your customer service really be honest not with me but with yourself and your customers. Do you give your clients the best service you possibly can. Do you talk to them and ask them how your employees treat them? I'm just saying really my friends lets be real to a real world.

Some tips on how to give the best you can to your clients.

Ask yourself some of these questions;

 What outcomes (results, not activities) are to be achieved by this improvement initiative? How will their attainment be measured?

1. Have you identified which of the organization's products and services are most critical in carrying out its mission? If yes, what are the 10 most vital? If not, what method will you use for identifying and prioritizing them to create a strategic foundation for this initiative?
2. What specific numerical objectives and due dates have been established for improving priority outcomes, products and services? Are they being met?
3. Improvement initiatives are often aimed at general problem-solving and process management. As Drucker, Lawton, Deming and others have written, it is possible to solve internal problems and improve efficiency while failing to (1) meet customer needs or (2) function as an effective enterprise. Is the initiative intended to measurably increase both customer and employee satisfaction? By how much?
4. What is currently given higher organizational priority than customer satisfaction?

Life,Business And Our Children Luciano The Key Santini

Good morning to all my friends. How are we doing on this beautiful morning? Today is a special day. It will be my son's birthday and we are preparing for his little friends to come over and enjoy a day of fun.

Here I am on my show that comes on every Saturday morning at 10:30 am for a half hour. I mostly talk about motivation because it seems that in these economical times people need to hear some hope. I know that when we feel down on our selves, for what ever reason, we need to hear some words of hope. I believe my show gives that to the world.

We live in a chaotic world do we not? Of course we do; our daily routine is nothing more then a variation of daily chaos. I'm not saying that life is not wonderful, because it truly is. What I am saying to you is that we need to stop and look for the beauty each day of our lives and feel it, enjoy it at every moment that we live.

Remember that we all have something special; you have something unique that no one else has but you. You need to learn what that is and be able to share it with the world. If we can learn to share our thoughts and our unique specialties, the world will surely be a very special place for each of us.

As a Business Coach there is so much to teach business owners, but the problem is simply that every owner feels they know everything about their business. What is the truth? The truth is that they do not. I may know lots of things but I never claim that I know everything because I am always learning something new at every moment in my life.

This reminds me of a story I read a few days ago;

In 1972, Stanford psychologist Walter Mischel concocted an ingenious experiment involving young children and a bag of marshmallows. He put a marshmallow on the table and told each child that if he (or she) could wait 15 minutes to eat it, they would get a second one as a reward.

Two-thirds of the kids flunked miserably. Some caved in at once; videotapes show others struggling to discipline themselves - some even banging their little heads on the table.

But the surprising results of the study came years later. Researchers followed up on the children to see how their lives progressed. Turns out the kids who exercised forbearance rather than eating the marshmallows at once had SAT scores 210 points higher. They were also more likely to finish college, enjoyed significantly higher incomes, were far less likely to go to jail and suffered fewer drug and alcohol problems.

What does this mean? It means we should love our kids. Our kids should have a good understanding that they need to treat other as they would like to be treated with respect and dignity.But if we really want them to succeed in life, we should also teach them the benefits of working hard and staying focused on their goals and their dreams..

Education takes time and persistence. Professional attainments require concentrated effort. Saving and investing - instead of spending - takes discipline. Successful parenting means sacrifice and commitment.

The world stands aside and makes room for the person who knows where he is going and is on his way.

When you have a vision for what you wish to achieve in your life, not only will others stand aside and let you pass, but they will join you in your quest as well. They will instinctively recognize your enthusiasm and zest for living. 

When you speak of your passion in life, your definite major goal, they will see the intensity of your desire, and they will respond with encouragement and assistance or they will stand aside. It will be apparent to all who know you that you will succeed. 

I read this about ten times because it has a such a deep meaning to me and because it is so true. go ahead a read it a few times for yourself my friends.

I like putting up Horoscopes because it teaches us some lessons if we are willing to learn more about ourselves and to be honest there is a short lesson every day. I beleive that helping people I mean really showing a genuine smile and teaching some genuine techniques in both business and life can really propel the individual to the next level.

I have found out that sometime you simply have to go out and ask for help whether with your life as a person or your business and that is ok sometimes we need to that and sometimes we do not and we end up loosing more then just our businesses we end up loosing ourselves to the chaos of the world and find ourselves lost. I believe that people are good and they mean well though sometimes people do not really understand human nature and tend to go on the deep end.

I am not talking about certain types I mean generally people do not understand people and the ones who do really do become successful why? Well simply because they are able to see the needs of their clients and help them. That is it!!! simple right ! actually wrong!! because that is easier said then done and even harder to teach your staff members that they need to understand their customers.

I find myself teching tecniques to companies both large and small and guess what they all have the same issue ( Not understanding clients) Their needs must be met and you the owner must know how to accomplpish that and if you do not they will go elsewhere to have that need met.

I find myself learning something new each time a I give a seminar to a company on customer service. I really enjoy this because as a trainer you learn so much if you keep an open mind. People will always disagree and that is ok. Life is far to short to try to please everyone,however you get paid for giving or offering a service or a product so do your best to fulfill that need to your clients.

 

 

It’s mighty easy to justify dishonesty if you make your living from it.

The subconscious mind makes no moral judgments. If you tell yourself something over and over, your subconscious mind will eventually accept even the most blatant lie as fact. Those whose lives and careers have been destroyed by dishonest behavior began the process of self-destruction when they convinced themselves that one slight infraction of the rules wouldn’t matter. 

 

When you sell yourself on an idea, make sure the idea is positive, beneficial to you, and harmless to others. Just as negative thoughts and deeds return to their originator, so do positive ones. When you practice honest, ethical behavior, you set in motion a force for good that will return to you many times over.

Business!!! We all want to be successful but what cost. I want you to really think about this because sometimes we do not realize what we are doing to ourselves and our families when we are so busy trying to reach something that perhaps is impossible in our outside world.

I want you to notice that I stated in our outside world and never mentioned our minds why?? I never stated our minds because we all have the potential to accomplish any business desire we may have and any goal that we want to reach we do.

As a business coach I try to teach owners to see where they are and where they want to be and then start a plan on how to get there. Easier said then done believe me because what happens when you start planning more issues are uncovered and OH BOY!!! it becomes a mess and that is OK it can be fixed it will take a little longer.

Lack of information is the main cause why people fail in life and in business and in accomplishing goals and dreams. Yes it takes desire and takes planning but most of all it takes knowing what you want and where you want to get.

Now I know there are many other issues that need to be looked at closely so one can reach a level of business success. Focus is a big one it really is one has to be focus on life and family first because if you do not focus on family if you have especially if kids are involved one needs to make sure they understand that there will be lots of long nights and missed dinners and perhaps some soccer or baseball games missed that will be part of the process.

 I believe that if there is an understanding though they may not get it at the very least get it out there and have them listen to you. There seems to be a big misconception that people can multi-tasking and I'm here to tell you that we are not made for that maybe and perhaps chewing gum and walking  only because we are so used to doing that since we we children and it takes no real talent.

Casual conversations don't have to be vapid conversations -- that would just be a waste of your time. So make sure any small talk you're forced to have today is very brief! Don't just yak about the weather or the latest sports scores -- cut to the chase about what is really on your mind right now. Not only will it interest the person you're talking to a lot more, it will also help you get a better handle on what has been bugging you. You have a lot to say, so why not say it already?

This little guy is one of my biggest inspirations of my life.  I have three more but he is something else. He knows when my days are not going so well and he always comes to me and says how much he loves me.

It is funny thing what we can learn from a child. Watch your children if you have any and see what you will learn. For starters you will learn how to live life now in the now!! because they will have fun when they play they will not give you a false sense of fun as we adults do daily.

They will cry when they want and need to cry they will not keep it in until we ask them to as we adults do all the time. Do you agree of course you do because you know it is true.

We can learn so much from our children believe me I know I have learned or been inspired for some of my best speeches that I have given from my children or children I see at the park. Watching them play with their parents or playing with my kids I sit back and watch how they truly know how to have fun and live life in the moment. Watch them and learn you will be surprised the lessons they can teach us adults.

Your progress in life begins in your own mind and ends in the same place.

Every great accomplishment began with the germ of an idea in the mind of a great person, then was shaped for practical usefulness and finally transformed into reality. Make your mind a fertile ground for ideas through constant study and learning, and condition through constant practice to discipline yourself to follow through on your good ideas.

 The most brilliant concept in the world is only a dream unless you take action. Even a mediocre idea that is put into practice is far more valuable than a flash of genius that languishes in a fallow, undisciplined mind. 

As a Business Coach I have to tell you that small businesses are being knocked down every day and not because of love or passion for what they do or are but because of lack of information. 

I see it every day and I try to help but they see only the cost and not the value form a Business coach. I explain to those that are afraid to spend a few dollars of what the outcome may be or could be if they do not get some help.

I have had business owners call me after they have decided to close their business but not their doors expecting a miracle and I ask one question. When did you decide to close your business and why? The answers are crazy. Example:

 My money is running out; My customers stopped coming in: My employees seem lost: These are just a few of them. My answer is if you have decided to close your business knowing that these issues existed prior to the choice you have made now the your expecting a miracle and I am not a miracle worker and I would be taking your money. 

You see when you know issues exist such as bad management running your business or bad customer service or simply bad  money management that is when you call someone to help restructure your areas of concern not when you have decided to close your doors.
