Subtle Signs of Bullying through people in higher positions who call themselves a leader and hide at the back of policies.

Subtle Signs of Bullying through people in higher positions who call themselves a leader and hide at the back of policies. I know each one of you who is reading this knows exactly what I am talking about. Tell me something; Do you just stand there and watch them continue justifying their BS and hide behind polices! Bullying frequently goes ignored in the workplace due to the fact it is a sluggish procedure of emotional and psychological manipulation that is challenging to prove and detect. Here are some signs to look for; Deceit. Repeatedly lying, no longer telling the truth, concealing the truth, deceiving others to get one’s way, and creating false hopes with no plans to fulfill them. Intimidation. Overt or veiled threats; fear-inducing conversation and behavior Ignoring. Purposefully ignoring, avoiding, or not paying attention to someone; “forgetting” to invite any individual to a meeting; selectively greeting or interacting with others barring a victim Isolation/exclusion. Intentionally making them feel socially or physically isolated or physically isolated from a group; purposefully aside from any individual from decisions, conversations, and work-related activities. To grow to be a genuine leader you need to make a deep commitment to developing your self through rich and significant experiences, reflection, and casual and formal learning. The intention is to learn and increase your proper self, instead of emerging as an imitation of someone else. While you can examine from others, you can't be them.
Thus, a leader authentically emphasizes building his or her legitimacy through trustworthy relationships and moral actions, that in turn, maximizes the efforts of others to reaching the goal.
In addition, Bill George noted that there had been 5 dimensions of Authentic Leaders (2003, 2007) :
Pursuing purpose with passion: Display reason and course so humans choose to comply with you (your passion will show you the proper way to the reason for leadership).
Practice stable values: We are defined by using our values and characteristics. If you do no longer have integrity, no one will have faith you or choose to comply with you.
Lead with the heart: Engage the hearts of those you serve and align their pursuits with the pursuits of those you lead. You need empathy and compassion for the humans you work with and wisdom to make difficult decisions
Establish enduring relationships: Enduring relationships are built on connectedness and a shared purpose of working together toward a great goal. People need private relationships to completely commit to working.
Demonstrate self-discipline: Converts price into constant action so that you produce results. Always take full duty for results and maintain others for their performance.

Boss or Leader?

Boss or Leader? Although your role as a manager, supervisor, lead, etc. offers you the authority to accomplish certain tasks and objectives in the corporation (called Assigned Leadership), this strength does not make you a leader, it absolutely makes you a boss. Leadership differs in that it makes the followers desire to gain high goals (called Emergent Leadership), as an alternative than simply ordering humans around (Rowe, 2007). Thus, you get Assigned Leadership by your position and you show Emergent Leadership with the aid of influencing people to do amazing things. Emergent Leadership vs. Assigned Leadership Total Leadership What makes an individual want to comply with a leader? People prefer to be guided by leaders they respect and who have a clear sense of direction. To achieve respect, they should be ethical. A sense of direction is achieved by way of conveying a strong vision of the future. When human beings are determining if they respect you as a leader, they do no longer assume about your attributes, rather, they take a look at what you do so that they can decide who you absolutely are. They use this observation to tell if you are an honorable and trusted leader or a self-serving individual who misuses authority to seem true and get promoted. Self-serving leaders are not as effective because their employees only obey them, not follow them. They succeed in many areas due to the fact they present a proper image to their seniors... however at the expense of their workers. Good leadership is an honorable personality and selfless provider to your organization. In your employees' eyes, your leadership is everything you do that effects the organization's goals and their well-being.

What is Servant Leadership

Luciano Santini PH.D.

Luciano Santini PH.D.

Public Speaker Expertise in Leadership/Corporate Training, Motivational & CEO @ Santini Common Sense Consulting
Servant leaders are a modern bunch—they take the normal power management model and turn it totally upside down. This new hierarchy places the people—or employees, in a business context—at the very pinnacle and the leader at the bottom, charged with serving the person above them. And that is simply the way servant leaders model to others.

That's due to  the fact these leaders possess a serve-first mindset, and they are targeted on empowering and uplifting those who work for them. They are serving instead of commanding, showing humility as an alternative of brandishing authority, and usually searching to beautify the improvement of their staff and bring about potential, creativity, and experience of purpose.

The end result? "Performance goes thru the roof," says Art Barter, founder, and CEO of the Servant Leadership Institute and CEO of Datron World Communications, Inc.
"Magic happens," has the same opinion Pat Falotico, a former government leader at IBM who is now CEO of the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.

Experts regularly describe the majority of usual business leaders as managers who commonly function as overseers of transactions: employees keep desired overall performance levels, and in trade, they get hold of salary and benefits. Generally, these managers are positional leaders—they derive authority truly from the fact that they are the boss because everyone knows and understands who is in charge without the need of making an issue.

The servant leader moves beyond the traditional elements of management, and as an alternative actively seeks to develop and align an employee's feel of reason with the company's mission.

LEADERSHIP Theories Series

I have done some research on theories on leadership scarcity of executives due to the number of retirements happening among present-day leaders are predicted.

An exam of three leadership theories—servant-management, commercial enterprise management, and transformational management—suggests strategies for potential. leaders.

Servant leaders consciousness on the desires in their employees,  and business leaders recognition on results and great methodologies.

Eventually, transformational leaders structure all employees’ work toward the undertaking, establishes open verbal exchange structures within the organization, which, focus on strengthening and sustaining their institutions for the future.

An evaluation of each of the three management theories will be addressed in three separate posts so be ready to read and share with as many as possible. #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #emotionalintelligence #empathy #employeeengagement #leaders #humanbeing #culture #businessleaders #transformational

The effects of Coercion

The effects of Coercion limits worker choices and may be both effective and ineffective. While using coercion to direct and motivate employees, managers might also use threats of termination, poor performance critiques, and low salary.

These threats may address issues and could inspire personnel in a positive way to perform consistent with agency requirements. However, the most common complaint in large organizations is that coercive processes usually backfire.

Coercion involves telling employees what to do and promises punishment if employees no longer follow directives. It does not allow employees to share in making choices.

Personnel working beneath coercive management styles may choose different employment. Coerced personnel additionally might also comply with directives even when they realize the directives will not accomplish the goal.

Thus the old saying "Good people do not leave organizations they leave bad leaders leadership leadershipdevelopment emotionalintelligence empathy humanbeings !"

Empath, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership

Empathy

For leaders, having empathy is vital to managing a successful team or enterprise. Leaders with empathy have the capacity to put themselves in someone else's scenario. They help increase the human beings on their crew, task others who 'are appearing unfairly, supply positive feedback, and pay attention to folks that want it.
In case you need to earn the respect and loyalty of your group, then show them you care by way of being empathic.

How can you improve your empathy?

Put yourself in someone else's function – it's smooth to guide your own point of view. After all, it is yours! However, take the time to look at conditions from other people's perspectives. For a beneficial approach for doing this.

Be aware of frame of language – possibly when you listen to someone, cross your arms, cross your feet backward and forward, or chew your lip.

This frame of language tells others how you actually experience their specific situation, and the message you are giving isn't always positive! Getting to know to examine a frame of language may be a real asset in a leadership role, due to the fact you'll be higher capable to decide how a person really feels.

This gives you the possibility to respond appropriately.
Respond to emotions – You inform your assistant that paintings are overdue – once more. And even though he or she has the same opinion, you may hear the disappointment in his or her voice. So, respond by means of addressing his or her emotions. Inform him or her you appreciate how willing he or she is willing to work longer and more hours, and that you're simply as frustrated operating late and feel the same. If viable, determine out a manner for destiny past due nights to be less of a difficulty and allow him or her to take Mondays off.

NEVER CONFORM

I believe that in many organizations today what is needed are leaders that can actually think on their feet and with their own minds.

They need to be one with their staff and always in communication with their superiors. Great leaders know and understand that there will always be a boss above them but that does not give the (Boss) the right to mistreat or belittle you in any way shape or form.

If they do then they are wannabe leaders and what I call so-called leaders and bullies based on the position of power given to them, not because of skillsets.

I know that these skillsets are not easy to acquire however I can help you get there.

It is all about building relationships and respecting others and treating them with dignity and for so-called leaders this is always a challenge because this means they have to give up power oops!!! they will never agree to do that because that is the only thing that makes them feel good about themselves.

"Believe In What You Stand For Though Your So Called Friends Walked Out" Dr. Luciano Santini

Hello and well it has been a while but here we are again. I have been really busy working on my business model which I will soon give to the world to find success in whatever you want to accomplish. In life it is always a challenge just to get out and see the world for what it really is and not for what the media wants you to see the world. You know politics are everywhere in your line of work or just in every day life situations and the the questions are left unanswered.

I find when businesses ask me why this and that happens to them or to their business and my answer is always " I do Not Know" but let us sit, have a cup of coffee and look into this issue or situation a bit closer.
I was asked a question or actually told that what I was saying was nothing new or that they had heard it all before.

I sad to this person well I want to make sure that you and everyone else in this room understands that I am not here to tell you what to do or how to dot it but simply stating that everyone in this room needs to look at things from a different perspective.I saw a blank face and no words came from anyone int he room. I followed with we all know what we suck at,however either we have no idea how to fix it or how to move forward past the situation or issue at hand thus people become stuck or continue in the same path and then wonder why things have not changed.

We have to be able to understand our own minds or we will be in trouble from the get go.

The mind is a set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, perception, thinking, judgement, and memory. The mind is the faculty of a human being's reasoning and thoughts. MMMMM reasoning and thoughts we have to be able to look at any situation and see the reasons behind it and then look at the type of thoughts we are creating to assure us to have clarity

As an individual you have to be able to see your self in all kinds of situations because that is life my friends.

Then you have or we all have to see and understand the following: By Napoleon Hill

Many people do not understand the difference thus make the mistake with people.

Sound character begins with keen self-respect.

No one really knows for sure how we develop self-respect, but the experts believe it begins at a very early age. Parents who show their children that they love them unconditionally — just because they are who they are — build a foundation of healthy self-respect that will sustain the children for the rest of their lives. From this foundation comes the moral and ethical structure known as character. Healthy self-respect should not be confused with egotism. An egotist loves himself for the most superficial of reasons, while a self-respecting person takes pride in qualities of character that he or she has worked hard to develop.

"Believe In Your Own Skills and Know Who You Are In Both Mind And Soul And You Will Succeed"-Dr. Luciano Santini

Hello my friends and here we are once again dealing with a world where everyone is freaking out because of the voting going on and who will be our next president and on and on with the chaos all around us. I always say to people live each day with a smile and let those crazy things around roll off your shoulders and I say this only because you cannot change the world but you can sure make a change within yourself and who are at any time that you choose to do so.

It is difficult enough trying to make it in this world much less having to deal with those people close to you or those you have to work with on a daily basis. I always look for my mentors whether they are still walking this earth or not to guide my thought when my thought are all over the place. They bring me back to reality and to a sigh of relief.

Your job will never be any bigger than your imagination makes it.

Daniel Burnham, the turn-of-the-century architect and civic planner whose plan for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair had an enormous influence on contemporary civic design, was quoted as saying, “Make no little plans.” He knew that to achieve great things we must have grand ideas. If you can imagine it, you can create it. And if you can create in your imagination the job that you would like to have, it is possible to create it in the real world.

I find that so many people are always rushing to get to work or to the store or wherever they need to get to and once they arrive they do nothing but take their time doing what a little while ago was paramount--WHAT IS UP WITH THAT!!!!

I have no idea but what I can tell you is this that if you need to get somewhere and you are in such a hurry that you might hurt someone or yourself along the way then my friend you!! need to take a big breath and relax because at the end of the day you will realize that it was not that important

Some people in this world think and believe that if they hurry something that it will get done faster and it might but the thing to think about is at what cost! You see people will try to make you think that you are wrong or that you do not understand certain things like policies or procedures in their world and so they will try to manipulate your mind and you as a person.

If this ever happens to you then dig into what they are telling you that you are wrong about and then smile back at them because you will find that they are just people that have low self esteem and insecure.

people who try this on other people will eventually be seen for who they really are and well you can look at them with sad eyes and smile and let them know that you have always known who they are and what they tried to do but because you have a strong mind you will win the bullying fight and they will be crushed and then they will slowly crawl back into reality.

These type of people are every where perhaps in your own family. These people will only try to isolate you from who you really are that special and smart person whom they have known all along but you made them afraid and thus they will try to crush you and your dreams.

In many organizations they have these type of people who will try to keep you in a box as they say "Out of sight out of mind" meaning the longer they keep you away from the real action well then people will tend to forget what you have done whether great or small they eventually will forget.
