Hardest styles or behaviors

 


What happens when a longtime person in a high position gets asked to resign due to their poor leadership. Then a new one gets in and is afraid to talk to you because others already created a persona of you. They have been told that you do not care for BS. One should never use the word leadership in vain ( LOL). What would you suggest to my friend? Please do not feel afraid to say whatever you would like to suggest. Leadership is a great word that follows a great leader who actually leads and stands up and speaks up when something is wrong. Gotta do what's right when it is time to do so and not be afraid! I love leadership been studying it for over 30 years now, and it all comes down to building relationships with others and respecting others and showing empathy along the way. These are the hardest styles or beha
viors to implement in any organization be for profit or non-profit. Everyone's has heard of these words and their meanings but few can actually implement them. The people that can are great to work side by side and they do not need a high position and those who can and hold these positions have nothing but followers and respect for what they do which is to lead to the best of their ability. #leadership #evanstyle

Creativity and innovation needs to be allowed

 

Hello my friends. I post regarding empathy and I am just surprised on the comments and shows me just how people in general have no idea what empathy really means and or how to show it to others and that is ok my friends because I love all people haters included. As a creator and innovator and yes always challenging the status quo and disrupting those who hate or afraid of change due to their cushy position they hold in companies and might just might bring out their true colors. This is where creativity and innovation needs to be allowed to bring about change and new outlooks for any company and peoples lives! innovation is when a company creates or discovers a unique way of promoting their products, not necessarily through an entirely new channel or medium, but certainly different nonetheless. In general, there is one path every innovator takes, and it all starts with skepticism, a natural reaction when entering the unknown. Soon after skepticism follows enthusiasm because with focused effort you start to see the potential of your new strategy. EMPOWERMENT REALLY!!

 


We all talk about innovation, creativity and empowerment. Why now? Why not before the pandemic. The people in leadership roles should have been doing this way before the pandemic. They have known how important this is for not just the organization but for the people they should have been leading and not monitoring each step of the way. The main reason why they did not do this is because people in these positions care about one thing and one thing only which is themselves. A true leader understands that in order to have creativity, innovation and actual empowerment is to acknowledge the talent around and feel comfortable giving up some power away to these individuals to allow them to be themselves and create, innovate and feel comfortable coming to their leader with questions and failures and advice. When I ask people why they do not pitch ideas-the response is because I can't no one listens or I do not want to get black -balled or fired. Do you notice anything interesting about those responses? They all revolve around the word “can’t”. The word can’t is disempowering… it’s pretty reasonable to assume if your thought processes around your job involve the word can’t, that you would feel “stuck”, because according to you, you can’t do anything about it. #leadership #evanstyle

Being who you are and love

 Thank you to all who support and follow me on this truly a wonderful journey regarding leadership. Leadership is all about being yourself and demonstrating personal authenticity. True leadership is therefore much more than a demonstration of strengths. Real leaders acknowledge their shortcomings and may even make them work for them.

Good leaders always rely on their ability to read situations. They develop a feel for an environment, and interpret soft data without having to be told. They know when team morale is patchy or when complacency needs shaking up.  

Effective leaders use their differences and move on to distinguish themselves through personal qualities such as sincerity, loyalty, creativity, or sheer expertise. Using these differences is a critical leadership skill. I always say, there is a danger – too much distance makes it impossible to sense situations properly or to communicate effectively.


 Genuine concern is difficult because it always involves some personal risk showing some part of yourself and your most strongly held values can seem quite scary. It may also take some detachment the ability to stand back, see the whole picture and sometimes take tough decisions. Leadership never was a popularity contest.

A true leader!!

You must clearly know your personal values and your organization values to lead effectively. For example, do the answers to these questions come readily to mind?
Personally:
1. What do you stand for?
2. What is most important to you?
Professionally:
1. What do you stand for?
2. What are you not willing to do?
Quality leaders don't change their values over time or to achieve short-term success. Consistent core organizational value systems form the strong foundation for long-term success.
A simple definition is that your values are the rules by which you play the game. A well-defined value system makes all decisions easier and encourages your team to go where you lead. The issue that I continue to see and find in those so called leaders who hold high paying positions is that they have been jaded for so long that they do not have these simple answers-yes they suck and unfortunately sometimes I am the one to let them know just how bad. #leadership #evanstyle #disruptors #inspiration

Inspire yourself and others


 When was the last time someone made your day – or you made theirs? Being inspired is about changing awareness of yourself as being limited, having no luck, things never working out, etc. into realizing that you are unlimited and have the potential to create whatever you truly desire if it is in alignment with the divine within. Whatever the mind of man can conceive, the mind of mind man can create. You are a perfect creation of the Divine. There is absolutely nothing that you cannot create. Have a knowing that you can create and attract to yourself anything you need to create your desires. `When you are inspired, you discover yourself to be a greater person than you ever imagined. Realize that your thoughts are energy. It’s all about what kind of thoughts and feelings we offer up to achieve our desires which are aligned with Spirit. #inspiration #leadership #evanstyle

Incompetent. Leaders

 


Hello to all my readers and yes let us not forget the haters too because they inspire me!! What happens when you do not trust the leaders who operate your organization due to their incompetence and worst, they know that everyone who they are trying to lead know they are incompetent. Leaders who are trusted with their teams are able to transform into results. Inclusive leadership brings higher engagement. People still feel unable to bring their true selves to work. This could be because of their own diversity – of identity, background, experience – to succeed. This takes a particular toll on diverse talent – women, people of color, LGBT individuals, people with disabilities – and all because they do not trust the so-called leaders. Individuals, and the businesses pay the price. Leaders who will make the future need to be trusted and those who have proven not to be trusted need to be removed and allow change, but we have to implement new theories that work and can be implemented immediately. Many of us are focused on how to “make it during” the challenging times so we can get back to living life as usual. The difficult part of all this, is not how survive the crisis but to ensure that your adapts – for the better. Learn the E.V.A.N theory on leadership and succeed.
