What Happens When We Believe We Know It All-Santini Self Development Enterprises-Luciano The Key Santini

Good morning or afternoon in some Places around the world. here we are again regarding some issues that are important to me and to many others around the world. Today I would like to talk about people who are not working and people that when you ask them if they need assistance with either their resume or or other skills that they may be in need they will say no.

I ask them OK why not and their usual answer is well you are not telling us anything new and I have been doing that all ready so thanks.I say it is not whether you have been doing that or not it is about looking at what you have been doing from a different angle or perspective.

What do I see under all that talking: I see frustration and I understand it; I see older angry people because they were laid off after 15 or more years with their respective companies and I understand that as well.

How do you deal with these type of people such as engineers and high profile people that once were the top of the line employees and then suddenly were dropped because of outsourcing or sales of companies.

I can tell you myself as far as education is concerned I hear it all day long from very smart people and very distinguished people that held very high paying positions and sometimes very high profiled positions as well.

The understanding that needs to come to mind for most of these people is that they need a reality check and the need to understand that they do not know everything that is the first key to finding that new position the understanding that you do not know everything.

I found this article which to me is very interesting and hope that it helps some of my readers.

The Frustration Signal

Each of us has a set of tried and true behaviors. Whether we are faced with a stressful situation or just going about our everyday activities, we tend to use behaviors that we’ve used before. We even use favorite self-talk behaviors: some folks habitually tell themselves that they are Mr. or Ms. Wonderful, while others seem to tell themselves that they are unworthy of even basic courtesy.

In Reality Therapy, we use the term “frustration signal” for that feeling we get when there’s a gap between what we want and what we have. When our habitual behaviours aren’t working effectively for us, we become aware of this frustration signal. This awareness can be a very powerful motivator to change. What do we do then?

I believe that when a person get to or arrives ta this point he/she need to have a reality check of themselves and realize that a change must happen or otherwise will slowly deteriorate. I believe that most people want to live a happy life but loose their way when they cannot get what they want and become uneasy in their minds and start to loose focus on what they need to do to be able to reach their goals again.

Criticism WOW that is a big one and trust me I have been on the raw end of it: What do I do well I just listen and figure out where the need is and try to find the solution and usually I am able to find it.

People often try to be helpful, though it might not seem that way when you’re on the receiving end of their helpfulness. For example, think about how you would feel if you were told, “You seem awfully cranky. You should get more sleep.” Or how about this helpful information: “You look tired. You really should be taking vitamins.”

Everybody has an opinion, eh? The folks pointing out the error of your ways may have the best of intentions, but it feels a lot like criticism when it’s you that’s being “helped.”
Critical comments may be most destructive when they are aimed at those closest and dearest to us. In some relationships, it’s as if intimacy is taken as a license to criticize.

This is why it is so important to listen to people and their needs and their issues first before one makes comments.

Get into the Right Mindset
What is the Purpose of a Cover Letter?
It’s not just a structure you need to follow,
like
an “ABC” formula
it’s a mindset you need to get into, and I’m going to help you get into that mindset and s how you how to put everything together . When we’re done today, you’re going to be able to write a great cover letter, comfortably and confidently

Sell, Sell, Sell Yourself to a Hiring Manager, Recruiter or
Human Resources
Let’s start off by setting up the playing field here. Overall, your job search is a sales process. You, the
candidate, are the product you’re trying to sell to the hiring manager. You want him to buy your product, which means to hire you.

In this analogy, the resume is your marketing brochure that
tells the buyer about the product. So what’s the cover letter? It’s your “commercial” or your initial ad that’s going to get the attention of the buyer and make him want to read the marketing
brochure.

Common Sense Is no Longer common Sense --Santini Self Development Enterprises-Luciano Santini

Good afternoon to all my friends who follow me and read my blog postings, I thank every single one of you and you are greatly appreciated.

Today I was busy early this morning and thus not able to post early so sorry for that but here is my post better late then never right right. Today I would like to talk about management. Why is is that certain people believe bad manage by power. What do I mean by that well let me explain.

I find that people who are very insecure about their position and in all honesty do not have the skills to manage efficiently will manage by power of position meaning that they are in a higher position then the staff members and thus will push them to do their will. I believe that this type of people should never have a position of any power at all.

There are so many organizations who will promote persons who have no idea how to manage people at all and yet they get the positions why is that?

The answer is simple really: It is because the person placing the next person in charge can be manipulated by the higher ups WOW makes all the sense in the world!! great you understand and now the problems that could and will eventually arise from this are;
1) Staff becomes rigid and hard to to work with.
2) Staff will give everyone a hard time regarding work issues.
3) Management becomes micro management teams.
4) Managers in charge have no idea how to deal with their staff.
5) Managers become angry and seek revenge.
6) Managers begin to hinder work environment. ETC............. and it goes on until the business is ruined.

When is there value by making small choices

Sometimes as small business owners we get caught in trying to make large choices and we so many mistakes, instead we should break those big choices into smaller ones and eventually get to our end result which will be that big goal we started with in mind if not many times we will fail.

If you go and ask the successful businesses in your area you will find that that is the only to to success.
If they decide to teach and train you: You will see that they never get excited over any changes that might come their way.

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE LIKE THIS? I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR COMMENTS AND STORIES AND THE BEST ONE WILL BE ON MY NEXT POSTING WITH FULL CREDIT.

Today Napoleon Hills says:

Don’t blame children who are bad. Blame those who failed to discipline them.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once observed, “Our chief want in life is somebody who will make us do what we can.” Although children doubtless do not recognize it at the time, they crave discipline, particularly during their formative years. Discipline defines boundaries for them, provides security, and is an active expression of a parent’s love. Most important, it prepares them for the challenges of adulthood.

If your childhood was less than perfect, you are in good company. Most of us have experienced difficulties at one time or another, and we all make mistakes from time to time.

The good news is that while your environment as a child will have a profound influence upon the person you become, it is not the sole determinant. The person you choose to be is entirely up to you. Only you can decide who and what you will become in life.

"In Life And In Business You Must Be Awake to The Changes That Come Each Day And Realize That Change Is Inevitable" Santini Self Development Enterprises -Luciano The Key Santini

"In Life And In Business You Must Be Awake to The Changes That Come Each Day And Realize That Change Is Inevitable" Santini Self Development Enterprises -Luciano The Key Santini

Good morning everyone and as always let us start with a little motivation and then on to business YAY!!

People are always giving you feedback that is genuine, although at times it might be hard for you to believe at times these people are not just praising you for their health, they really mean it! Have faith in yourself and understand that you're capable of amazing things. The worst mistake you can make at any point is to limit yourself. This applies to new relationships, career challenges and even business opportunities. Act on your ideas and climb out of your shell. You see many times we get all caught up in our daily routines and then we begin to be comfortable and then guess what happens!! We get stuck!! and remain there until someone screams real loud in our face and make us feel like well you fill in the rest of the sentence___________.

Ok now to business, I find that we as small business owners tend to think that we are the only ones that can operate our companies thus we tend to take care of the big picture or we seem to think that is what we do LOL yes I am laughing because the truth of the matter is that sometimes the employees we have can actually do a better job then we may be doing.

Here is where I can be of assistance to you the small business owner. Here is where I can assist you in finding that person within your company that perhaps you never thought about other then a simple employee who comes in daily and works for you. That one person may be be able to move your company up the ladder in the community.

Let us talk about the fears as business owner that we may fear and what happens when we find ourselves trying to overcome some of the fears that may become freezers for yourselves and for our businesses. When we find ourselves afraid of making a move we may sometimes end up sabotaging our business.

We may find ourselves do what we think is safe instead of what could have been the right thing to do. We may be known in the community and in the business world as being always predictable instead of taking calculated risks. You might join groups instead of starting one yourself. You may never take action but wait for someone to guide you and or get you started. When something or a new idea comes your way you may make excuses to take a dive into it and never take action.

You might tend to think in failures instead of progress which will hinder you and your business. The most important may be the following one: Blame others for any failures in our business and never take responsibility for your own actions OOOOPPPPSS that is a big one.

What about media? an interesting article I found by By on March 19, 2013

In business, social media is becoming a lot like email. Every company has it. In an Altimeter Group survey of 700 executives and social strategists fielded in late 2012, we found that 100 percent of participating enterprise organizations run to varying extents an active social media strategy. But unlike email, organizations haven’t mastered how to effectively communicate through the likes of Facebook or the tweets of Twitter.

What are you doing to market your business or yourself if an individual trying to get noticed and recognized
in the business world?

But unlike email, organizations haven’t mastered how to effectively communicate through the likes of Facebook or the tweets of Twitter.
Over the last several years, businesses have increased the pace of adopting social media strategies for use in marketing, service and other related capacities. What’s becoming very clear however is that adopting social media and understanding its impact on customer and employee relationships and also the bottom line are not always linked.

This disconnect between social media strategies and business value is forcing many executives to rethink their overall approach and the infrastructure they built to support it. The result of this reflective process is motivating organizations to transform everyday social media initiatives into deeper social business strategies.

I can tell you as a business and executive coach that we need to stay on top of the technology that is constantly revealing itself daily and if we do not then we stay behind more and more until no one knows who we are.

A quote from my mentor: Napoleon Hill

The keenest minds are the ones that have been whetted by practical experience.
Theoretical knowledge without practical experience might be compared to a large mass of undirected energy. Until it is focused, it is difficult to direct the energy to a useful end. Practical experience is the lens through which the energy of knowledge may be focused and directed toward activities that will provide the greatest benefit.

When you learn new concepts or have an idea that has not yet been tested, make it a practice to think through its application carefully before implementation. When you have considered the possibilities, and it still seems to be a good idea — get into action. The only way to get practical experience is to get to work executing your idea.

Leadership is an art that can be learned if you are willing to adapt--Santini-Self Development Enterprises

Good morning everyone and it has been a week again my my how time goes by when you are having so much fun!! I have to tell you that lately time has escaped me. I feel as if time has taken over my life! Oh yea it has LOL!! What I mean is simply this my friends.

Leadership in small business is what I compare to a piece of fine art , because when you are operating a small business you have better have what it takes to survive and adapt at a moments notice to any changes in the economy or staff or politics WOW politics. if you are good at this art then your business will do well but if you do not have this art to a science or at least recognize it then find someone in the community who does or who can train you and your staff to move forward.

In today's world of businesses and the changes that organizations expect from managers can leave them feeling helpless because of what the expectations are, such as ROI-driven objectives. Yet,  with the right people and correct training we can have those who can elicit unwavering support from their teams, completing  projects, and getting the best work from staff with increasing workload orders.

Sometimes we get so busy in our businesses that we loose track of time yes or no and of course the answer is yes!. You see we get so caught up within our business that we loose track of ourselves not of time. People will always tell you that they loose track of time but in all reality what they loose is not track of time because time is a constant.

I really want you to think about this because it is important that you understand this. What we loose is track of ourselves, we loose our awareness if you will and this is where we loose or feel like we loose time. We need to focus on our business and ourselves at the same time.

The universe knows that you deserve a relationship that is based on mutual respect and cooperation --  between clients and staff members and you do, too. The time will come in the future if has not already for some of you out there that might be struggling with yourself. My friends it time to make the changes that will get you where you want to get.

You see in all of us there are two people within us the one we are now and the one we can become or strive to be. My favorite guy says the following and I agree of course.

Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.
For an achiever, perhaps the most dangerous, most destructive habit of all is procrastination, for it robs you of your initiative. When you put things off once, it’s easier to put them off again, until the habit is so firmly ingrained that it cannot be easily broken. Sadly, the effects of the habit of procrastination are also cumulative.

Its cure is obvious — action. You’ll be surprised how quickly you begin to feel better about yourself and your situation when you get going on something — anything. As British prime minister and author Benjamin Disraeli said, “Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.”

I will leave you with this and of course I always welcome your comments and suggestions:

When it comes to successfully leading  your organization or for that matter any organization the one question that keeps coming up is: Do you as a leader have the ability to lead change and manage it successfully?

To Live A Full Life One Must Be Willing To Adapt To The Changes That Come So When Challenges Arrive We Are Ready To Conquer Them One At A Time"-- Santini Self-Development Enterprises

"To Live A Full Life One Must Be Willing To Adapt To The Changes That Come So When Challenges Arrive We Are Ready To Conquer Them One At A Time"--Luciano The Key Santini

Farmers know that fields have to lie fallow or nothing planted in them will bloom. The same principle applies to your life. If you've been working far too many hours, it's time to find a way to relax truly so that you, too, can grow during the appropriate season. So don't fret too much if you're feeling a little low energy. Get more sleep. Eat nourishing foods, and you'll bounce back more vigorous than ever.

Change is all around us not just in our daily loves but at work within out circle of friends and our relationships. Change will always be in the way so what do you do you ask! Well you can resist and die!!! or you change and adapt and live a bountiful life it is your choice my friends.

Sometime we do not see the change that is needed to survive until it is to late and then we cry and moan and feel pity for ourselves BOO HOO fight back and make the change you need to make and truly enjoy your life family and friends. We look outside of ourselves and make judgements on others and oops we forget to look at ourselves. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy because we tent to avoid the issues that really need to be looked at our own.

You see sometimes we look outside of ourselves only and we only see the outside of others. We need to take the time and talk open our mouths and say something to that neighbor or person who has been sitting in the next cubicle and perhaps maybe they might just teach us a lesson or two about life.

Business well I love to train and teach business owners and their staff regarding the visions and missions regarding their business. I find that the only person who somewhat understand the above is the owners and no one else. Why is that? simple really it is because they never take the time to explain it, they simply hire and fire. My friends and business owners life is about how you run your business and human behavior. We must understand human behavior simply put (What may work for you may be offensive to me) and visa versa.

One of my passions is to get people to see what they do not see or do not understand and then how to reach their potential from within and to learn who they are and who they would like to transform into. Business is the same look at your business and see what you do not see and understand what you do nit understand to have a better understanding of both business and staff.

One of my favorite author ,mentor and teacher Napoleon Hill of who I have studied for the last 14 years once said:

Napoleon Hill said, "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of equal or greater benefit."
Here is the key, we have the opportunity to turn failure into success, to turn adversity into lessons learned, challenges into resolve, but it's up to us to see the vision of possibility and have the faith and resolve to get back up and keep moving toward our goals. And when we do that it is guaranteed that we will have something of great benefit to share with others.

Next Week All about Business engagement.

"No Challenges No Progress"--Luciano The Key Santini & Santini Self-Development Enterprises.

Hello my friends and it has a been about a week now since I wrote on my blog and the reason being is simple just have been really busy in my new position and well it has been a bit challenging but as I always say

"No Challenges No Progress"--Luciano The Key Santini & Santini Self-Development Enterprises.

You see when we have no challenges then there is no progress some people will agree and of course those that have no goals and are in their comfort zone and afraid for change well of course they will disagree with me and my simple rule YAY!!!! I love it!!!

Sometimes in life we feel that the challenges that come our way are way to harsh to understand and difficult to get through but let me just say that nothing is going to change until you make it change and stick with whatever change that may be. Sometime we need to just take a look at any situation from a different point of view and say that is it and take the bull by the horns and make the change that is needed to make a better life for yourself.

Business for Everyone who is a leader

Take a good look on how you are leading.  If you are a leader and you are not constantly improving  your skills there is almost no chance that you will increase efficiency in your organization or business small or large. You have to be able to do an analysis on yourself as a leader.

Many questions one needs to ask and perhaps one needs to make changes such making changes with people and moving them where they can do the most.
If you feel that you are not an effective leader then two things must take place one learn them and implement as quickly as possible or let someone else lead.

You must take a good look at the procedures that are in place. One must take a close look at what procedures are working and which are not and make the changes asap or fall behind and play catch up every day. Take a close look at the processes that are outdated and only exist because they have always been done that way.

Use your imagination for your good customer who believe in what you do. I always say to never ever assume that because you see you clients today they will return tomorrow. The winners will be the ones who are always looking for way to be more efficient and more focused.

Capabilities of your people and your organization
If you as organization is counting on the capabilities of your staff to build your business and to get noticed you will find yourself fighting an uphill battle and unable to look into the future with confidence.
Living without a definite major purpose promises nothing but a scant living.
You may get by in life without a Definite Major Purpose, but you will never get ahead. Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement. Financial goals in particular should be specific, definite, and measurable. You should know what you plan to earn, by when, and how you plan to do so.

The greatest advantage of financial security is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that, whatever challenges life brings, you are equipped to deal with them. You will be better at whatever you choose to do because you can focus on opportunities instead of struggling to eke out a living.

Dictionary.com defines SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS
this way: “a nonsense word meaning fantastic.”

On Management and Communication
I believe that most managers fight their on insecurities with themselves and thus do a crappy job with their peers and staff members why is that? The simple fact that when this happens the staff members pay the price! They the managers are never available to their staff but instead hide behind their position
(Anyone ever deal with that type of manager??)

If you have please leave me some comments and examples would love to use them. The or most should remember that efficient communication is extremely important in any organization!!.

What is passion? I ask my clients this one question all the time. What I get for answers are not what I was hoping but it is a start.

Passion is a quality that you must have or fine within yourself. This is what will make you reach your goals in life. This is what bring life into our dull lives at times when we are feeling down and depressed. This is what brings us to a point of no return!! This is what will make us smile and bring joy to all those around us so if you do not know what your passion is then sit relax grab yourself a cup of strong coffee or mellow tea and figure it it out.

Sometimes we know what we do wrong but either afraid to admitted to anyone and never to ourselves and you see my friends that is where the major issue lies within ourselves. We know that life is not always fair and not always do we get what we want and our expectations usually never come out as expected why is that?

Well for starters that is life and life my friend is a roller coaster. Yes it is. Sometimes we need to sit back and realize that our lives are not perfect and never will be, however we can really try to make things and situations as easy as possible for ourselves and stop believing that will be perfect because if we do move in our lives daily weekly yearly or whatever we are in for a big disappointment.

We have to take a look at who we are and who we want to become and start being practical and so much idealistic because this will  make our life pretty difficult. Sometimes we want to have the best job and though you know your ideas work better then what they may be offering to you as an employee you may want to stop pushing against their ideas and work harder to prove that your are better just need to be patient.

This is a way to create a better perspective about where you are and where you may be headed. Be positive and Bremen that each day you have the choice to have a great day or a bad day my friends it is your choice your choice because you always have a choice always!!!

Here is something I found on the Internet which seems interesting:

By  Tricia L. Nadolny

Two former state employees have claimed in a lawsuit they were bullied by a supervisor after reporting that she regularly took paid two-hour lunch breaks. Sandra Miner of Pittsfield and Carla Haase of Concord say they complained about the abuse to officials at the state’s Department of Health and Human Services, but nothing was done.

The harassment – which they describe as being carried out by their supervisor Lisa Derepentigny as well as a “clique” in the office – was so intense that both women suffered severe emotional distress and took early retirement, they claim in a lawsuit filed at Merrimack County Superior Court.
A department spokeswoman and Derepentigny both declined to comment. The lawyer handling the suit at the attorney general’s office did not return a message left yesterday.
