I am not a mental specialist, nor would I ever claim to be. However, I have seen firsthand the effects of gaslighting and the damage it can cause. Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or group makes someone question their own sanity, memory, or perception. It is an abuse that can be used by so-called leaders to gain power and control over their victims.
I have experienced gaslighting in my life, and I can attest to the profound impact it can have. It can leave you feeling confused, powerless, and isolated. It can erode your sense of self-worth and self-esteem, and it can make you doubt your own judgement and decisions. It can even lead to depression and anxiety.
I believe that if everyone was honest about their experiences with gaslighting, we would all have something to say. It is important to recognize the signs of gaslighting, so that we can take steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones. It is also essential to create an environment where we can talk openly and honestly about our experiences, so that we can support each other and help each other heal.
True leadership is an essential skill in today's world. With so many incompetent leaders in the world, it is important to differentiate between true leadership and those who rely on outdated tactics and theories.
Gaslighting is a common tactic used by those who lack true leadership skills. This involves manipulating someone's perception of reality in order to gain power and control. It is a form of psychological abuse that is damaging to both the leader and the followers. True leaders will never resort to such tactics, as it is not an effective way to lead.
Leadership theories that are no longer applicable in today's world are also something to be aware of. Many theories that were once popular are now outdated and no longer relevant. True leaders must be able to recognize these theories and understand how they no longer apply in the current environment. They must also be able to adapt their leadership style to the changing times.
Understanding true leadership is key to navigating through all the so-called leaders in the world. It is important to recognize those who rely on outdated tactics and theories to differentiate between true leadership and those who lack the skills and knowledge to be successful. By being aware of these tactics and theories, a person can ensure that they are not taken advantage of and can be successful in their leadership roles.
Hello everyone in the world and to all those that read my blog. Today though it is early my heart is broken in a million pieces. Each piece of my heart goes out to the parents in Connecticut. I cannot even start to say the words that would describe such a tragedy. I cannot even imagine what the parents are feeling right now but pain and a sickness.
As a parent I can only say that I would fall into an abyss of darkness and never find my way back. I say this because I love my children more then life itself. As a parent we try so hard through good times and bad times to give them all that we can to make their life easier to deal with the reality.
Here is a poem I wrote please read it and leave me your comments.

There will always be unanswered questions in our minds when tragedy strikes.
There will always be pain when tragedy strikes and there will always be sadness.
There will always be tears coming from our faces and our hearts from within.
No one will ever have an answer but only a thought of the why.
No one will ever know what to do or what to say.
There is only one that has the answers to our questions.
There is only one that will continue to keep them safe.
There is only one that perhaps just saved their lives from the worst to come.
There is only one that will reveal peace in our lives and dry our tears.
There is only one that will take away our feelings of all the fears.
Perhaps our children are singing at his side perhaps that is his way.
Perhaps that was the only way to keep this world at peace.
Perhaps this is the way to teach us a powerful lesson of love and peace.
Many questions will be left unanswered in our minds today and tomorrow.
Many questions we want answered now today and tomorrow.
Do we want the answers becomes the real question does it not?
The answers will be so harsh that they will only add on to our sorrow.
So many questions will be left unanswerd today in our minds.
So many pains will be felt deep in our souls with no way out.
So many hidden skeletons we keep in the back of our minds.
Questions will be asked but never answered we must live with that uncertainty.
Questions can only be talked about and brainstormed for answers but the answers will never come.
There is only one that has all the answers but it is not me nor is it you.
There is only one that someday will share the answers with you and me.
Today we pray for all those we have lost.
Today we cry for their lives to be held in the highest.
Today we ask GOD to let them smile upon a broken world.
Today we get on our knees and pray a prayer of forgiveness .
Today we ask GOD for strength to live in peace.
Today we ask GOD for a new view of who we are and where we are headed.
If we pray and ask we shall recieve from the highest of them all. AMEN
Today I will not write about bussiness or life but about change and the need for it, Remember that we the parents and the people that see this tragedy for what it trully is can make the changes. We the people build this country and we can make the changes if we but choose to do so.
We need to stnd upo to these eveil that lives in our neighborhoods and in our homes, yes in our homes because people like this person was also someones child and they loved him as we love our children.
We need to understand that it starts at home. I have seen children change the way they see the world when parents teach them the world as is not as what we want or believe it to be but for what it is.
I am not saying the world is a bad place to live in but what I am saying is that we need to see the reality around us. We never expect a tragedy to to happen such as Connecticut but what we do need to do is realize that it could happen and how do we prepare.
We as parents are so afraid to tell our children the truth of the world and we should not be, because when we are fearful we say nothing.
I have a son who is in middle school and before he started I had a long talk about what could happen regarding drugs and what did he answer me this: Dad this would never happen to me becausemy friends are good people!
I said to him ok I am not saying your friends are bad people but what I am saying is to be aware of people you surround yourself with. GUESS WHAT!!!
Two months into his school year ( A FRIEND) approached him about drugs and well he was smart enough to make the right choice to talk to me about it the same day and well as a parent I sat with him and explained to him that this is just the beginning of the reality he will be facing in the world of chaos and that he will be making many more choices in life.
I explained to him that life itself is beautiful as long as he surrounds himself with positive people and stay away from negative ones. Will he always makes the right choices,I can only hope he does. One thing I know for sure that he will think about the choices and the consequences that come with each choice he makes.
People loose their way in life for so many reasons and sometimes it does not make sense but to that person something made sense whatever that might have been. People are good in a non-reality world. In a the real world we live to survive that is it we live in a world to survive.
I find that tragedies happen all the time but not like this not in our town, but the fact is that evil lurks everywhere and we need to teach our children as well as ourselves that this exists, that this is a reality.
I continue to hear about gun control and yes I am all for it but the reality of all this is that it has to take a tragedy like this to happen to be able to see the need to control the sale of guns. I also understand those that make the comment(Guns Do Not kill People) (People Kill People) I also understand that when a tragedy such as this happens we see the reality of the world.
It should never have to get to this point to see the world for what it really is and to see and understand that there is evil in it. We do not need to wait to see this. I am not a politician nor a priest I am a parent just like those in Connecticut and around the world who love their children.
Tell your children everyday just how much you care and love them not just when something like this happens. Sometimes we get angry at them because they do dum things or they do not listen and we stay angry at them for the rest of the day REALLY!! oh yes we do WHY!! all the time I see it and Teach it not to be that way!.
Today is a sad day not just in Connecticut but around the world. So many little lives were taken. The opportunity for changes in the world that are so badly needed were perhaps taken as well. So many dreams were taken.
